Bookbinding: Days Before We Meet
I was responsible for designing a cover page for a new published book called “Days before we meet”. Because content precedes design, so to exactly present and deliver the implication of this book, I’ve read it for three times to be able to understand what the writer wanted to communicate with the audience. The book indicates that even being alone in the world, you still need to fulfill your life. By using white background and black lines as the main tone, I would express that being alone gives people a choice to live thoroughly and completely. Then I used Photoshop to draw laptop, camera, purse and candies around the name of this book to present that even being alone, people are suppose to love everything happens in their lives. I care about the design of cover page because it shows the personality of the book to the audience.
