CODING HEROES

Why Arduino and JavaScript? How do we prepare our children for an uncertain future? "Unlike Scratch or other programs that run in a closed environment, we deliberately chose to use an open source hardware platform (Arduino) combined with a versatile, popular and widely used programming language (JavaScript). This provides the students with exposure to real computing concepts. As a long time software architect and business owner, it has become more and more difficult to hire programmers that understand the big picture. Most candidates have a good grasp of the computer language, but very little problem solving skills on how to apply their knowledge. PodPi strives to provide a proper context with each lesson and challenge presented.” Stephane Come Podpi Creator.
