The Perfect
COLLEGE TOWN
You’ll see right away why students call Coe and its lush 70-acre campus home. Coe is nestled in the heart of Cedar Rapids, a city known as an arts and cultural hub with great theater, live music, an enthusiastic sports scene and restaurants sure to satisfy all taste buds. Our location in Cedar Rapids — Iowa’s second-largest city and a thriving community home to nonprofits, schools and top 25 teaching hospitals — creates opportunities for students to work and learn alongside professionals while building an impressive resume. Our C3: Creativity, Careers, Community center is staffed with full-time professionals helping our students connect to our Cedar Rapids community partners. The opportunities your student will have access to outside of the classroom are what sets Coe apart from the rest. Experience and networking matters when it comes to preparing for the next step after college. Coe students are guaranteed a research, off-campus study or internship experience before they graduate. Explore the perfect college town.
Affordable
EDUCATION There’s a reason Coe College was named a Best Value College by The Princeton Review. All incoming Coe students received financial aid last year, with the average award offer for first-year students totaling more than $54,500. Scan to file your FAFSA.
Coe Community
Our campus is a friendly, safe and secure place that welcomes students from across the state of Iowa, the United States and even the world. Nearly 100% of Coe students live on campus, and 90% of students are involved in one or more student organizations. Access to student life resources includes mental health and counseling. All Coe students deserve to feel a sense of belonging, purpose and value. Coe provides short-term counseling to students at no charge and referrals to necessary resources in the area. Students also attend Coe events throughout the year (and especially around finals) designed to destress, such as Common Threads crafting, registered therapy dog sessions, meditation and yoga sessions and free massages. The Office of Student Success & Persistence provides an inclusive, welcoming environment to empower students to successfully transition to Coe and through graduation. Success Coaches provide proactive outreach to ensure students have the information they need to make the most of their college experience.
Don’t just take our word for it.

Making it Official
When your student is ready to make their final college choice, they will need to accept their offer of admission and submit a $300 nonrefundable enrollment fee to Coe prior to May 1. By doing so, they’ll officially become a Kohawk and become eligible to receive more information about housing, orientation and first-year course selection.
