Buried Sunshine Weds 17th Feb, 7.30pm-9pm End at Aberthaw Power Station. Follow the coal back. A freight train passes through our lives. Rewind to Avonmouth and the hard fact of coal punctuates its journey. Rewind yet further and it gets murkier. In which lands and lives did it begin its journey? Buried Sunshine looks at the stories of people, communities and lands affected by the UK’s burning of coal. Through performance, film, lecture and conversation we will consider our relationship to these lives. The event is inspired by the Coal Action Network’s recently published report Ditch Coal.
