THE FRAGRANCE PROJECT - PAK Project Title:
The Fragrance Project - PAK for Summer
Project Type: Branding | Promotion & Advertising | Packaging Project Year: 2014
This project's brief was to create a new fragrance brand. And this fragrance named as PAK for Summer, which inspired by the outdoor activities in summer and the freedom of traveling. PAK for summer is a travelled-size unisex perfume which themed as summer. Our targeted customers will be from low to mid market, such as students or even anyone who aspire to travel and enjoy going outdoor in summer. For more easy-carrying, it will be a 100 ml travel-sized fragrance bottle and stored in a journal design packaging.

BOOTS LIVE PROJECT Project Title:
Boots Live Project - The Future of Retail
Project Type: Trend Forecasting | Branding | Advertising | Marketing Project Year: 2016
It was a live brief with a UK pharmacy store - Boots, and we were required to work in teams of three for research on the future retail trends for Boots, and also to provide an eight years development plan for Boots in this project. Our plan for Boots was suggesting Boots to enter a new market - Hong Kong. However, we understand it is tough for Boots to open a new market in a short period. Therefore we suggested Boots to bring one of the most popular sub-brands, which called Soap & Glory (S&G) to be a "stepping stone" to help Boots creates a better environment and opportunity to enter the Hong Kong market. In our plan, we suggested S&G to launch two pop-up stores for Soap & Glory in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong during 2019. And here are the timeline for our plan and the details of our pop-up stores.
The Research Insight The whole retail environment has developed into a more high technology and digital format.
Customers shopping habits are changing. They will emphasise a lot more on the shopping experience is given by the brand or the service.
Interactive functions become one of the popular communication methods among the brands promotion.

BACHELOR DEGREE DISSERTATION Project Title:
Innovation of Wedding Trend in Hong Kong : The Revolution of a New Kind of Wedding Experience

It is my dissertation project for the final year of my bachelor degree. In this project, I have talked about the Hong Kong wedding industry promotion trends and also how the Hong Kong wedding cultures have changed nowadays. While doing the research for this project, I was continuely asking myself: Will there have a solution to solve the misunderstanding between the designers, the bridal stores and the customers? And what should I do to solve this problem and helping the wedding fashion brands to increase their volume of business and brand awareness though a digital promotion plan. For the execution of this project, I have created a mobile app design called WEDDIE, which is a wedding advice app for the couples to receive supports and inspirations during their wedding planning and wedding day.

It is a live group project that worked for Vinti Andrews during the Master Degree. This project aims to increase Vinti Andrews brand awareness and consumer engagements through a digital mobile strategy. Vinti Andrews is a London-based fashion brand which needs additional developments in the marketing and promotion strategies. However, they are facing financial problems which may affect their marketing plans. Thus, as mentioned in the introduction, it shows that the experience has become the major point to influence consumers’ purchase decision and it is a well-worth considerable opportunity for Vinti Andrews. Since the experiential consumption had been applying to the new marketing strategy, it will be quite beneficial for Vinti Andrews to increase their brand awareness and customer interaction, strengthen brand image and consumer engagement, and rebuilt their build image to develop and launch a new mobile application. Therefore, our team is required to work on this live project, which aims to increase Vinti Andrews brand awareness and consumer engagements through a digital mobile strategy. In additional, there were three research objectives to achieve our goal of this project, including to Investigate what consumers want and needs from an app experience; researching on consumers habits by using apps and mobile; to develop the mobile interaction framework for Vinti Andrews.

MASTER DEGREE DISSERTATION Project Title:
Exploring the Development Opportunities for the local independent brands in Hong Kong

Nowadays, “lifestyles� is one of the tools for the people to show off their daily life and cultural taste on the social media platforms. Most of the local small independent brands in Hong Kong have taken advantage of this phenomenon and released a lot of products, which draw from the hipster’s lifestyle and culture. However, some of the local independent brands are lack of marketing strategy and support currently, and most of them are difficult to develop and expand their business to a higher level and get in touch with the target consumers. Encountering such issue mentioned above, this issue inspired me to start research on how to help those local small independent brands in Hong Kong to develop their business by suggesting a few marketing strategies or development opportunities. At rst, this research project is going to look into the current market environment and promotion trends in Hong Kong and pin down specific issues needed to be resolved. Next, I will try to identify the customer behaviour by analysing the data that I collected from the secondary and primary research. At the end of this project, there was an online platform designed as the execution part, which about providing some suggestions for the Hong Kong local small to medium sized independent brands to develop their business.

This project is required to design a company logo for a HK-based headhunting firm. The mission of this firm is to become the first line of defence for their client and prevent them to employ a wrong person in a wrong time. Therefore, I have used a shield as the design element of the logo. Moreover, there will have 2 colours for them to use in order to put them on different backgrounds and designs.
