The marketing plan is the most important part of your mobile app. It makes or breaks a successful app, so it must be done right. A good marketing plan will help you determine how much money you can afford to invest in your product, who your target audience is and how best to reach them with their needs met by the product you're offering.

It should be in place before iOS, and android app development begins so that there are no surprises once your app has been built (and maybe even before any code has been written).
