Decorative Center Houston’s Courtyard Renovation Nears Completion When Charles S. Cohen purchased the Decorative Center Houston in 2001, he envisioned a highly stylized and functional design center. In the years that followed, extensive redesign projects have changed DCH to the vital design center it is today, featuring high quality construction and the state-of-the-art aesthetic that typifies Cohen Design Centers across the USA. The most recent phase of Decorative Center Houston’s rebranding takes place in the Courtyard. A transformation of the main plaza fountain and entrance areas will create a new attractive entryway to the building. With the talents of two Los Angeles companies, AREA and Fluidity Design Consultants, this multi milliondollar project will complete the new image of Decorative Center Houston. Plans include a dramatic landscape with palm trees and blossoming gardens, a new infinity fountain, monument signage, and a new brilliant white façade. Glass storefronts will open views to the first and second floors facing the Courtyard, reflecting the vibrance and diversity of product and commerce alive in the Decorative Center Houston.
