Her love for gardening came from her early upbringing in rural Charlottesville, Virginia. The Hearst Castle Collection is a gorgeous assortment of fabrics that reflect the grandeur, luxury, wonder and mystique of this famous castle in California which tells the story of Hearst’s passion for all things beautiful. Pindler was fortunate to be given access to the vast and diverse collections and archives of fine decorative arts collected by William Randolph Hearst. Due to the overwhelming success of our previous editions of the Hearst Castle Collection, we are now proud to present four new embroidery designs to this fabulous group.

This sophisticated collection of table, floor, wall, and hanging lamps is handmade in France in small workshops by a select group of artisans. The pieces are offered in a wide range of plating options with a foundation of bronze and brass topped with diminutive shades available in a rainbow of classic colors and textures. The selection offered here is a sample of the “Ladybird” double articulating table lamp with downward facing shade in Old Silver.

Groundworks introduces a collection of vibrantly colored and visually stunning fabrics, wallpapers, and carpets designed by Hunt Slonem, a worldrenowned artist best known for his NeoExpressionist paintings of exotic animals and tropical plant life. Slonem’s inspiration for his frequent subjects, as well as his vibrant color palette, can be traced to childhood visits to Hawaii and Nicaragua. His empathy for nature can be seen through both his home and studio which house hundreds of birds, both in and out of cages. For the Groundworks collection, several of Slonem’s most popular themes and iconic works have been translated into extraordinary art for the home.
