Depending on the day of the wee k that you visit, Julian can be seen in different ways. During the week you can follow our self-guided history walk. Pick up the map at Town Hall and make your way through the town and learn about the historic buildings, including our “old Julian jail.” Even if you are not a history buff it is a great walk to help you see much of downtown Julian. Shop our local stores and enjoy our local fare at one of our many restaurants. If you are here on a weekend day, you’ll find many activities hosted by local businesses. You can enjoy a hayride, climb a rock wall, check out two local hard cider tasting rooms. Most days of the week you’ll find wine and craft beer tasting opportunities.
