THANK YOU

MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOME POSSIBLE

Colegio Nueva Granada’s story has always been one of continual innovation and progressive thinking: an 84-year-old history of visionary people coming together and building a better future for others. On September 15, 2021, we celebrated 83 years of stories that have one thing in common — they began with dreams. Those dreams followed by bold action have made the seemingly impossible become possible at CNG.

This spirit continues to drive us forward in our quest to provide students with a 21st-century education based on a comprehensive program that allows all students to reach their potential for excellence. We

have accomplished great dreams for more than eight decades, but we believe greater dreams still lie ahead. With a set of Board–approved priorities that are aligned with our Vision statement, “Educating the Mind, Strengthening the Body, and Developing Character for Leadership and Service in the World of Today for a Better Tomorrow”, we are committed to execute a visionary plan to “Build CNG’s Future” and achieve a profound educational and infrastructural transformation at CNG. Your generosity is leaving a lasting impact on CNG’s story. Let’s take a look at how YOU are impacting present and future generations…

PROJECT 2025:

Design Thinking for Learning and Leading, The Future of Educational Learning and Teaching at CNG

CNG is an accredited United States / Colombian college - preparatory program focused on motivating our students to achieve their fullest potential for excellence. This process has never been more critical, as we are preparing our students for a future that requires creativity, problem solving and communication. CNG has partnered with Stanford d.School and NuVu, pioneers in design thinking, to help us take education to the next level.

The framework that guides our process is the following:

Clearly articulate the problem you want to solve

Design a (series of) prototype(s) to test all or part of your solution

EMPATHIZE

Develop a deep understanding of the challenge

DEFINE

IDEATE

Brainstorm potential solutions, select, and develop your solution

PROTOTYPE

Engage in a short-cycle testing process to refine and improve your solution
