This WSI course covers the foundation of instructional skills including teaching methods, learning styles, planning, teaching and evaluating swimmers. Candidates are evaluated throughout the course and through individual study assignments. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates are certified as Water Safety Instructors and will be able to teach the Red Cross Swim programs. Candidates must be 15yrs of age, must attend 100% of the course to complete and have a current Standard First Aid/CPR C Certification. Successful candidates will receive certification in Emergency 1st Aid & CPR C. Held in the classroom at Stan Siwik Pool (1901 - 15 Ave North) Standard First Aid - $157.50

Red Cross Baby Sitting - $68.25

Basic First Aid and Caregiving skills for youth 11-15 years old. During this 8 hour course participants will learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups and how to prevent and respond to emergencies.

Prices include all materials, certification fees and GST.
