The aid products designed for labor-saving of taking a seasoning bottle from a castor stand. we conduct the experiment and discover that a 65-degree tilt angle is most comfortable and labor-saving. In addition, the opening design of the silicone sleeve can remain much friction to protect the seasoning bottle from falling under external shocks. It makes users in Taiwan feel safe when earthquakes.

MAIN CONCEPT

The product is for the elderly to use . The elderly needs to use more strength to take casters by existing products. So we design 流水線 , it can save effort to take casters.According to our survey, we found 65-degree angle is more convenient for them. We also chose different color to distinguish the casters size. In addition, it showed “ big ” and ” small ” for users to differentiate.

We discovery it's easy to take a caster by 65-degree angle.

1. Different color and word for people to distinguish casters place. The big size is for like pepper shaker, and the other is for like a bottle of soy sause. We measured the width of seasoning jars of all brands, analyzed, and set the opening width of the seasoning bottle rack ( 流水線 ) to two sizes.

The study interviewed four senior citizens, three men and one female, aged 50, 60, 63, 75 years old.

Summarize the following key points, the users are not easy to stabilize the bottle and have storage problem. They are more conservative to try new products. Therefore, this research proposed to improve the life of older people and use simple and easy to operate, improve the use of safety.

Conclusion

For older people, 65-degree angle is convenient to use, and we use silicone to prevent casters to slipping out.

Although the test result are not very different in seconds, users told us that we designed are better than existing products.
