Youth Express Network Y-E-N/R-E-J is a European network of grass-root youth organisations. Our vision is to reach an inclusive society, where young people, their needs and participation are recognised, valued and appreciated. Our 30 member organisations in 23 different countries all work at local, regional or European level on social inclusion of young people. Our Board is pan European (6 volunteers) and our Coordination Office is based in STRASBOURG, France (4 paid-staff). Since 1992, we have organised more than 100 international training courses, seminars, cross-border and mobility projects bringing together social/youth workers and young people with fewer opportunities. We also have conducted researches on youth and social related issues and have been trying to be the voice of young people with fewer opportunities in local, regional and international institutions, either by representing them or by supporting them to create and be part of youth councils. We are member of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) and the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations of the Council of Europe (COE). 3

Shaping Europe together! » is the third and last activity of Y-E-N long-term project « TOG(AE)THER EUROPE: Living, Working and Shaping Europe together » for the year 2017. The aim of this seminar was to « shape Europe together » by boosting youth participation in policy-making and to advocate for a life in dignity for every young person in Europe. The objectives were to: - Evaluate the impact of the Work Plan 2017 on participants and organisations involved; - Give advocacy and lobbying tools for young people to claim for their rights; - Encourage youth participation at local, national and European level; - Raise awareness, among decision-makers, on access to Social Rights of young people; - Promote the role of young people and youth/social workers to participate to policy-making fostering social inclusion for youth; - Present and dissemination the ENTER Recommendations. This seminar gathered a total of 44 people (young people, youth/ social workers and local decision-makers) coming from 15 different European countries and 17 youth organisations. 5
