The American Case Management Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting case management and transitions of care professionals. Established in 1999, we provide educational forums, national research, mentoring and networking opportunities for a growing group of health care professionals.
In addition to educational resources and networking opportunities, ACMA seeks to influence the policies, laws and other issues that impact case management professionals, the patients and families they serve. ACMA serves over 8,000 members and 52,000 educational subscribers working in 1,400 health care delivery systems in all 50 states.
ACMA membership consists of nurses, social workers, physician advisors, educators, hospital administrators and other case management and transitions of care professionals. Over 20% of our current membership hold leadership positions.

ACMA serves a growing number of care management professionals with 30 local chapter conferences, two annual conferences, research and peer-reviewed publications, certification and credentialing opportunities, continuing education webinars, career resources, online learning systems, simulation training, standards of practice, discounts, online collaborative resources and public policy advocacy. Distributed and published every-other-month to ACMA members for the last 20 years, Collaborative Case Management is an established peer-reviewed electronic journal. It contains solutions to current issues, evidence-based research, case studies, interventions and practical resources for case management professionals working in a variety of settings.
Articles and research are submitted by ACMA members and industry experts to inform and educate case management and transitions of care professionals. This well-regarded publication offers a select number of advertising spaces. Collaborative Case Management is housed as a member benefit through ISSUU.com and on Ulrich's Medical Library.
