The essays and articles of JUDY BATALION have appeared in such publications as theNew York Times, the Washington Post, Vogue, and theJerusalem Post. While doing research in the British Library, she stumbled across a Yiddish book calledFreuen in di Ghettos”(Women in the Ghettos) that inspired her powerful new nonfiction titleThe Light of Days: The Untold Story of Women Resistance Fighters in Hitler’s Ghettos.”
