ntegrating race education into health sciences programs, such as undergraduate dental programs gives educators an opportunity to help students develop the social and behavioral skills necessary to provide culturally competent care, particularly for patients of color. Although the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) requires dental schools to implement educational initiatives on cultural competency, for many dental educators this may be a daunting task.1
