It’s Owl Time Kennesaw State University’s stature as an academic institution is closely paralleled by the success its athletic teams have enjoyed throughout their history. In its 15th year at the NCAA Division I level, Kennesaw State Athletics sponsors 18 intercollegiate sports and nearly 250 student athletes. The Owls have already amassed 45 ASUN Conference titles and two Big South Conference football championships since moving up to the highest level of collegiate athletics in 2005.

The Owls boast 10 women’s sports: basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field and volleyball. The Department of Athletics sponsors eight men’s sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, tennis and indoor and outdoor track and field. KSU competes at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level and is a member of the Big South Conference.
