About Our Photographer... Collette Storkel is the head photographer and owner of Collette Photography.
Collette has apprenticed with some of the most well named photographers in the world...She has been behind the lens for well over 9 years now!

What makes us different?  You will never feel rushed. Some portrait studios will only spend about 20 minutes with you. We plan out plenty of time for your photo session, and shoot until we run out of daylight or outfits! Usually our on-location sessions last for about 2 hours, which is ample time to create a large assortment of images that you will love!
We are always unique, never boring. We utilize unique locations, bring props to use, and use different camera techniques and poses; all to help your images to be unique and stand out from the rest!
Never any high pressure sales! You will NEVER feel pressured to buy anything...I'm a photographer NOT a sales person, I basically just lay everything out and let you choose!
You will look amazing. Unlike a lot of photographers who charge you extra for retouching and editing your images, we DON'T! We include professional retouching and editing at no extra charge! (Collette is also a professional Photoshop instructor!)
We offer products no one else does. We have some of the coolest and most unique products that you will want that no other photographers in the area have! (Like beautiful custom albums actually made in Italy and personal mobile apps with your images on it for your phone or tablet...all at affordable prices!)
No minimum print orders. Most studio's have a "Minimum Print Order" requirement with all of their sessions. With us there are NO minimum print orders required with any of our sessions.

Common Myths About Choosing a Photographer Myth #1 "I have to choose my school's contract photographer."
False. You are entitled to use any photographer that you choose, including your Aunt Suzy and her new digital camera. (but I don't recommend that either!)
Myth #2 "I must submit my yearbook photo by August."
False. This is just a way of them pressuring you to book a session quickly. Every school is different, check with them to see what the actual deadline is. (Most are in Oct. or Nov.)
Myth #3 "The school's photographer is a lot cheaper."
When you add the session fee and package prices, our prices are very comparable to what you would expect from the school photographer. When you consider in the added value of the extra time, care, detail, options, products, locations, techniques and experience that we offer, the value is unmatched.
Myth #4 "Someone with an expensive digital camera can take the same quality pictures as a professional photographer."
Owning a "good camera" does not make you a great photographer anymore than owning a good set of golf clubs makes you a great golfer. As a professional photographer we have spent years training and learning our craft in order to be able to produce high-end beautiful images that make you look great. Lighting, posing, camera settings and angles, retouching and polishing the images... all of these aspects must be done properly and in the most flattering way to result in great images.

Studio Session: One hour In-studio session. Split your session into 2 days. (sometimes girls will want to do this so they can have straight hair for some images and then curl their hair for the next session day. This gives the images a lot more variety!)

Collette Photography's High-School Senior Rep Program Are you interested in being a senior representative for Collette Photography at your school? We are looking for local Juniors who are eager to have their images created and be a Rep for the 2014 School year!
What does being a Senior Representative mean? -Senior Reps will have their session done early in the year, this spring or early summer. Sessions will need to be done in either May or early June.
-Reps will need to spread the word about Collette Photography. Which can include handing out flyers, recommending us to your friends & family and handing out Rep cards.
What do you get for being a Senior Rep? -Senior Reps will get a free HS Senior session
Personalized Rep cards incorporating one of your images Steep discounts on your print order (Discount is based on how many referrals are booked from your referral)
