REGISTRATION OPENS FOR STORY TIMES AND PROGRAMS

Enjoy stories, crafts and fun activities during story time. Registration is open to all library card holders. Space is limited, so register early. Preference will be given to Colleyville residents;

and programs are available for newborns through grade 5 and last for twelve weeks. Chess Club is open to ages 8-15.

“ROCKET” READERS

Reading is vital for children to succeed in school and in life, but many of them struggle with reading. What better listener than a friendly, nonjudgmental dog from the Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs program? These programs are growing in libraries across the country and researchers report a rise in reading levels among participating children. Independent readers (grades 1-5) can bring a favorite book from home or choose one from the library, and read it to a furry friend while here at the library!
