GUIDELINES
YOUTH CLASSES
• Pre-registration required online or over the phone prior to class. • Camps and classes will be limited to 10 children. • Instructor and children’s temperatures will be taken upon arrival. • Face masks are encouraged but not required. • Parents should remain outside of the building for pick up and drop off.
Staff and instructors will accompany children during pick up and drop off. • Parents with toddlers and/or young children may accompany children inside the building during pick up and drop off if necessary. • Snacks and water bottles must be brought from home.
No sharing is allowed. • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization throughout the building and restrooms. • Instructors and children are not to attend class if they are not feeling well.
ADULT & SENIOR FITNESS
• Pre-registration required online or over the phone prior to class. • Classes will be at 25% capacity and/or reduced to allow proper social distancing requirements. • Instructor and participant’s temperatures will be taken upon arrival. • Face masks are encouraged but not required. • No social gathering inside the facility, especially before and after class. • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization throughout the building and restrooms. • Senior Center fitness room will be by appointment only. • No Senior Center social activities/games are allowed until further notice. • Instructors and participants are not to attend class if they are not feeling well.
PARKS & TRAILS
• All parks and trails remain open. • Pavilion and tennis court reservations are accepted. • Please call 817.503.1180 for sports field reservations. • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization of restrooms and drinking fountains.
Senior Center Membership
Memberships are available to those ages 50+. Memberships are required for anyone participating in any senior class, program, or activity, or for anyone using the fitness facility.

FITNESS CLASSES Yoga Flow Basics
Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Class begins with warm-up poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cooldown poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels.

Personal Touch—Strength Training
Zeroing in on key muscle groups, using weights and resistance bands, this class will help improve strength, body awareness, and balance. Use muscles, not momentum to get a total-body workout that brings all the dance fitness fun without the hop. A combination of cardio and strength training for a heart-healthy workout that keeps your body strong. DANCE
Happy Feet Tap
Learn to tap dance. No dance experience required and all levels welcome.

Line Dancing
Beginner class is for students with previous dance experience. Students should be capable of learning basic steps: grapevine, chasse, jazz box, etc. Routines up to 48 counts may include rhythms like Waltz or Cha Cha and tempos are slow to moderate. Improver/Intermediate students need previous dance experience and basic skills. Dances will introduce new step patterns: coaster step, rolling grapevines, swivets, etc. Routines up to 64 counts may include various tempos and rhythms and feature pauses, syncopation, timing variations, etc. For full descriptions of levels visit www.linedancerlite.com.

Confused by Medicare?
Whether you are aging into Medicare this year or are already enrolled, come to this complimentary workshop which will cover part A, B, C, and D of this government health benefit that can be quite confusing. Come and learn more about the basics and intricacies of Medicare at this session which will be hosted by Matt Curry, a licensed insurance agent. Topics to be covered include the differences between basic government Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, Part D drug plans, and former employer supplemental coverage available to some participants. This is an educational event so no need to bring your checkbook. This event is for you to relax and ask questions to be better informed about your choices. If you need individual help Matt does represent a number of insurance companies’ plans and will schedule follow up appointments. Seating is limited so reservations are required.
