The striking façade of Arthouse immediately makes a memorable statement. Harking back to the warehouses of Glebe’s past, it is a modern take on this industrial heritage. In harmony with its neighbour, The Foundry, Arthouse reverses its brick construction with concrete motifs to create a distinctive local character.
With a brickwork base in minimalist colours contrasting the masonry and concrete above, framed box windows jut out across the façade to create an optical illusion in perfect symmetry. At night, the façade lights up spectacularly, creating the impression that Arthouse is not a building but a sculpture – a piece of public art.

The Arthouse sings a different tune to its neighbour, The Foundry, but together they create a chorus in concert, creating an overall sense of closeness and community. West End is a meeting of the minds, a relationship of equilibrium.
