“Watch out!” called Jen Jones, the plane’s navigator. A palm tree had appeared out of nowhere from the dense fog.

Jake Jones, the pilot, wrestled with the controls, but he could not avoid the tall tree.

The plane wrapped itself around the palm tree and ditched down in marshy water. Jake and Jen walked out of the wrecked plane a little worse for wear.
“I have a headache,” said Jake.

Jake sat down and calmed down. Jen passed him some gauze. Then she stared at the scenery. “Where are we?” she asked.

The forest floor was bustling with beetles. The call of exotic birds haunted the air. Odd creatures wandered out of the bushes.

“It’s like a lost world!” gasped Jen. Jake wanted to investigate. “Another wonderful adventure ahead!” he declared with a grin.
