The Gardens on Spring Creek is an 18acre community botanic garden, within walking distance of the Hilton Fort Collins. $11 per adult with discounts for children, 65+ and members of the military. Open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

FOCOMX - “THE BIGGEST LITTLE FESTIVAL IN AMERICA”

The Fort Collins Music Experience is a two-day music festival that celebrates live music in northern Colorado. With 30 stages and more than 300 artists, this year’s festival brings live music to venues throughout downtown Fort Collins Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23. Wristbands are $50 before April 21; purchase online at focomx.focoma.org.

SPRING CREEK TRAIL

6.6 miles of hard-surface trail, which runs from Spring Canyon Community Park to the confluence of Poudre River and Spring Creek, east of Timberline Road. Hop on the trail just outside of the Hilton Fort Collins!

POUDRE TRAIL

12.3 miles of hard-surface trail which follows the Poudre River from North Overland Trail to East Drake Road and connects to CSU’s Environmental Learning Center.

HORSETOOTH RESERVOIR/ HORSETOOTH MOUNTAIN OPEN SPACE

The 6.5-mile-long reservoir is a favorite recreation spot for activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, bouldering and picnicking. There are many miles of trails surrounding the reservoir for mountain biking and hiking. Most parking lots require a Larimer County entrance permit, with day passes available for purchase in the parking lots.

LORY STATE PARK

This state park located adjacent to Horsetooth Mountain Open Space features 26 miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking, plus areas for rock climbing. The trails on the east side of the park provide access to some of Horsetooth Reservoir’s bays and coves for kayaking and canoeing. Day permits available for purchase at the park’s entrance.

FORT COLLINS MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY

408 Mason Ct, Fort Collins, CO 80524 This all-ages science, history and cultural museum is interactive and immersive, featuring hands-on and collectionsbased exhibits that tell the stories of northern Colorado and beyond. Admission is $12.50 for adults, with discounts for students and 65+. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

THE FARM AT LEE MARTINEZ PARK

600 N Sherwood St, Fort Collins, CO 80521 An educational and interactive experience for all ages, visit this working educational zoo where you can feed animals and view farm equipment. A free playground and picnic area is located just outside of the Farm adjacent to the Poudre River Trail. $4 per person for admission. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday.

CITY PARK

1500 W Mulberry St, Fort Collins, CO 80521 Featuring a free playground and picnic areas, City Part is west of Old Town Fort Collins. Walk the short distance around Sheldon Lake or play in the beautiful open spaces.
