BAGS OF FUN
For more than 18 years, Bags of Fun has brought joy, laughter and relief to children in the fight of their lives. Their mission is to deliver a Bags of Fun to every sick child whose health and happiness is both compromised and threatened. Since 2004, Bags of Fun has fulfilled every request from our area participating hospitals. What began as a mother’s wish to offer a playful respite for her own daughter fighting brain cancer has now become a movement to reclaim the innocence and playfulness of childhood for those children that are threatened by the realities of their medical condition and fighting for their lives. Wheels of Dreams Charity Experience has raised over $160,000.00 for charity to date.
A Drive Through Time
TAKE A STROLL through automotive time to see most iconic cars from every decade since the turn of the 20th century‚ a collection estimated $20 million, the classics of yesteryear in addition to the hottest models on the market today! Supercars from Lamborghini and McLaren will be on view alongside new head-turning models from Audi and BMW. These magnificent machines will not disappoint!
LOUNGING THE NIGHT AWAY
A special treat for all Coloradoans, enjoy the ULTIMATE “unplugged” performance by Sean Kelly of The Samples, presented by Carla’s A Classic Design. Enjoy the evening under the stars with friends as Sean plays famous hits such as “Feel Us Shaking,” “Little Silver Ring” and more! Relax and mingle throughout the evening in custom-designed lounges decorated by top interior designers such as Howard Lorton Furniture & Design, Park Meadows, and Noyes Art Design.

Cap off the night with an amazing live auction led by Channel 7’s Lisa Hidalgo, to raise awareness and money to benefit Bags of Fun. For more than 18 years, this local charity has brought joy, laughter, and relief to children in the fight of their lives. Their mission is to deliver a “Bag of Fun” to every sick child whose health and happiness is both compromised and threatened.
TO PROMOTE THIS EVENT and encourage guests to register, AvidLifestyle and Colorado AvidGolfer runs full-page promotional ads in several months prior to the event. After the event, AvidLifestyle and Colorado AvidGolfer also runs a two-page thank-you ad in our September AvidLifestyle issue and in our October/November Colorado AvidLifestyle issue to acknowledge the sponsors and guests who participated in the Wheels of Dreams event. The ads reached 300,000+ readers and the total value of this exposure was nearly $50,000.
