t was a combination Commencement and a firstyear class reunion. Nearly 370 members of the Class of 2020 — including 11 Master of Arts in Teaching graduates — reunited on Sunday, May 30, for their long-awaited in-person Commencement ceremony. There was joy among classmates who had not seen one another, or their professors, since they were abruptly separated by the pandemic in March 2020. The class motto, “Hindsight is 2020,” may have been chosen with a sense of humor last year, but its poignancy a year later could not be missed.
