YOUTH REP BIOS
Anja Mari Arnstein (Tyler Kimble / Ensemble) is excited to once again join the Youth Repertory Ensemble for this production of Mean Girls here at the FAC. Previous FAC credits include: Footloose and She Loves Me. Missoula Children’s Theatre credits: Wizard of the West, Peter & Wendy, Rapunzel, and Hansel and Gretel Cheyenne Mountain High School credits include Failure a love story, Twelfth Night, and Guys and Dolls. Currently a Senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School, she is also a Colorado Infinity Athletics Senior 3 Elite Cheer Team member. She enjoys being with friends, taking voice lessons, and driving her Volkswagen convertible and always brings her hyper bubbly energy!
Isabella Bailey (Karen Smith) is 17 years old and a rising senior at Village High School and Liberty High School. Isabella got her start in musical theatre through dance appearing in shows such as The Music Man, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Roald Dahl’s Matilda, The Musical, and most recently she was in Youth Rep’s production of Footloose as Vi Moore. Isabella wants to thank the Fine Arts Center staff, the LHS dance department, and her vocal coach for supporting her as an artist.
Keira ‘Keebs’ Bertsch (Grace / Ensemble) is thrilled to be working with the Fine Arts Center, telling an incredible story with other excellent people. Appearing in Mean Girls follows her debut performance in a high school production of Goldilocks on Trial. Keira is excited to be part of the North Shore High family!
Ella Brewer (Spotlight Operator) Mean Girls is Ella’s first show with the Fine Arts Center, but her 6th show overall. She is excited to see where her career in theater may lead.
Cedar Clevenger (Rachel Hamilton / Ensemble) is an upcoming sophomore and is excited to be joining the FAC for her first year of youth rep. She has been dancing with Synergy Dance Academy for 5 years and was formerly in the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale. Cedar wants to thank everyone who has supported her especially her friends, family, and amazing teachers.
Mischa Cosner (Regina George) is very happy to be a part of Mean Girls: High School Version in her second year joining Youth Rep! She has most recently performed in Hello Dolly! (Featured Dancer), Les Misérables (Cosette), and Addams Family (Alice), as well as in last year’s production of Footloose (Wendy Jo). Mischa wants to give thanks to her supportive parents and vocal teacher Carmen Brown for helping her out with this challenging role.
Cameron Devenish (Spotlight Operator) is excited to be at the Fine Arts Center for the first time participating in the technical design course, focusing on lighting, electrical, and construction elements. He has previously done productions attending Air Academy High School such as Caught in the Act and The Little Mermaid. His next productions will include The Odd Couple and Guys and Dolls. Cameron sends his love and thanks to his family, cats, the Carb Monster, and his friends.
Abby Ditlow (Teary Girl / Mathletes
Moderator / Ensemble) is a rising senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School. At her school, she is Drama Club Co-President with Sam Elliott. Her most recent main stage performances were Pride and Prejudice (Charlotte) and Guys and Dolls (General Cartwright). She was also recently in two one acts 4 a.m and A GAME. She also directed the one-act production of Lost Girl (or First Chair). This is Abby’s third year in the Youth Rep program and is so excited to be performing in MEAN GIRLS!
Uriel Franklin (Gretchen Wieners) this is Uriel’s second production with the Fine Arts Center. She was in last year’s production of Footloose as Urleen. She’s an upcoming sophomore at Coronado High School, where last fall she performed in the musical Chicago playing Mona, a Mary Murderess. Last Spring she was on the Coronado track team. She’s excited for all the new skills she’s learned during the production of Mean Girls along the with new friends she’s made.
Briana Froese (Sonja Acquino / Ensemble) is a Junior at Cheyenne Mountain High School and is excited to perform in Youth Rep’s Mean Girls. This is her first time working with the Youth Rep Program and she has enjoyed this wonderful
experience. Briana has performed in 6 school productions; Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Identity Play (Cast Member, Jenny, and Sam), PUFFS (Rita Scooter, Death Buddy, Bippy, Myrtle, Professor Lanny and Hermione), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer), 4 A.M (Officer and Jogger), and Pride and Prejudice (Mrs. Bennet). She also participates in the choir program, Shadows Chorale and Metallics Jazz Choir. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Yammy Guevara (Dawn Schweitzer / Ensemble) is proud to be part of Mean Girls at the Fine Arts Center! While at the Performing Arts Center Kapolei in Hawaii, they performed in Aristocats, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book. They also performed in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Aladdin, Schoolhouse Rock, and Frozen at the Magik Theatre as well as Matilda at the Woodlawn while in Texas. More recently at Rampart High School, Yammy performed in Radium Girls and Sister Act and worked as tech in Seussical and Clue.
Lennie Gustafson (Ms. Buck / Ensemble) is excited for their first performance at the Fine Arts Center! They have previously appeared in productions of Les Misérables (Old Woman/Ensemble) and Guys and Dolls (Mission Ensemble). Lennie would like to thank their parents and Tiana (she knows who she is).
Casey Hollingsworth (Damian Hubbard) is an upcoming senior who lives for the arts! This is his first year at Youth Rep and cannot wait to audition again next year. He is so excited to have his first principal role in a production (especially one of his dream roles). Casey’s most recent roles include Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast Jr., Fester in The Addams Family, and Grantaire in Les Misérables: School Edition. He is planning to major in Musical Education next fall. Casey would like to thank his parents for always supporting his career and allowing him to do spectacular productions like this one.
Evelyn ‘Evie’ Kelley (Janis Sarkisian) is so glad to be back at the FAC for her final summer with the program having previously performed as part of the Youth Rep Ensemble in Footloose (Ariel Moore) and Anyone Can Whistle. She will be attending Fort Lewis College this fall in their
Musical Theatre BA Program. Evie graduated from Coronado High School this Spring, where her theatre credits include Chicago: Teen Edition (Velma Kelly), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (The Stinky Cheese Man/Princess 1/Cocky Locky), Patrick Barlow’s A Christmas Carol (The Spirit of Christmas Present), Done to Death (Jane), and The Cover of Life (Aunt Ola), as well as the oneacts Dinner with the MacGuffins (Helen), which placed first at regional competition, and Digging Up the Boys (Addie), which placed second at regional competition. Additionally, Evie is incredibly passionate about choral music, and has performed with Colorado All State Choir, Western Slope Choral Festival, and D11 Honor Choir. She is so grateful for the directors and creative team of Mean Girls for making this wonderful experience possible and would like to thank God and her family!
Isabella ‘Bella’ Kim (Sophie K. / Ensemble) is beyond grateful to be working with the Youth Repertory Ensemble for this year’s production of Mean Girls: High School Version. Previously, she has been in Newsies Jr. and The Witch’s Princess.
Aaliyah Lockett (Lizzie Therman / Ensemble) is excited for her third production in her theater adventure! She was recently in a high school production of The Addams Family and Face on the Barroom Floor (Fatima). As an active member of her school’s show choir, she loves to be able to sing and her favorite way of letting go…dance! Aaliyah absolutely loves the theater community and is super excited to be a part of this family that is doing Mean Girls!
Nokutenda Mazhandu (Wardrobe Crew) is excited to be a part of the Fine Arts Center’s production of Mean Girls. She previously worked behind the scenes at Timberview Middle School’s production of Channeling Grim, gaining valuable experience and insight into the world of stage production. Nokue is truly grateful for the people who have initiated her experience on stage tech crew. Holly, Liz, Colyer, and SB have guided her in acquiring the knowledge of what it means to be behind the scenes. She has also gotten to learn some life skills during her time and is looking
forward to gaining more of these qualities in the Stage tech world.
Aris McCormick (Marymount Mathlete #2 / Ensemble) had the best time doing Youth Rep last year, so now they’re back for this production of Mean Girls! Previous credits include: The Little Mermaid, Footloose, and Newsies. In their free time, they love hanging out with their friends, drawing, and writing stories. Aris is looking forward to what comes next in their sophomore year at Air Academy High School.
Meggan Milliron (Mrs. George / Ensemble)
This is Meggan’s first year with Youth Rep and she is excited to play her role in Mean Girls. She has appeared in several theater productions over the last five years, including Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., Pride and Prejudice, Game Night (Humans Only Please) and Guys & Dolls. Meggan’s unique ability to stand out in a crowd has been recognized by theater instructors and audience members. She enjoys singing, voice acting and modeling!
Courtney Morgan (Caitlyn Causssin / Ensemble) has been participating in theatre for many years, but this is both her first show with Youth Rep and her first time performing on stage. Courtney will be a senior at Pine Creek High School this fall where she has worked on seven shows including The Play That Goes Wrong, She Kills Monsters, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, and Bye Bye Birdie. Throughout her career Courtney has Stage Managed, Directed, and designed, and she is excited to be a part of a show on the other side of the curtain. Courtney is grateful for the Mean Girls production and directing team for giving her this opportunity to step out of her comfort zone.
Kacie Munger (Ms. Norburry / Ensemble) is very excited for her debut performance with the fine arts center, displaying a beautiful medley of camp and sincerity with a wonderful group of performers. She has previously worked with Liberty Lancer Theatre in Curtains, Trap, and The Curious Savage. She sends all her love and thanks to her friends and family that support her through her wonderful journey of life and performance.
Teagan Mushall (Caroline Kraft / Mathlete #3 / Ensemble) is super excited to be a part of the Fine Arts Center’s production of Mean Girls! This is her first year as a Youth Rep participant, and she’s eager to collaborate with her cast and crew to create an outstanding production. Currently a sophomore at Liberty High School, Teagan has a deep love for the stage, nurtured by countless shining moments performing alongside her mom. Previously, she has been a part of Legally Blonde (Vivian Kensington) at Chinook Trail Middle School and Trap (sound engineer) at Liberty High School. She extends heartfelt thanks to Shabazz, Tracy, and J. for this incredible opportunity, her parents for their unwavering support and kindness, and Tina Fey for writing such a relatable and enjoyable show for teens with amazing characters to look up to! Teagan is super excited to put on such a fetch show and put everyone’s schquillz on display.
Sydney Olsen (Assistant Stage Manager) has been with Youth Rep for the past two years and is so excited to be part of Mean Girls. Syd has also done many shows with her high school, the most recent being Willy Wonka. She will be returning as a senior.
Elijah Operhall (Kevin G. / Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the FAC stage! He has previously performed on the Liberty High School stage. Elijah also enjoys reading books and spending time with his 2 cats, Hercules and Artemis. He would like to thank his family for supporting his passion and allowing to take part in this production, his friends for encouraging and aiding his acting career, and the Youth Rep teachers for helping him to make leaps and bounds in his development as an actor.
Adalynn Ortman (Mrs. Heron / Ensemble) is excited to be performing at the Fine Arts Center for the first time to tell a deep and beautiful story alongside so many talented artists. Previously, she has worked on the production, Footloose: The Musical at Palmer High School and The Little Debbies at Sproul Junior High School. Her directorial debut was the show Snow White with a Twist. She gives her utmost respect and thanks to her family and Sammie Joe for supporting her
throughout and even before this play. She appreciates them with all her heart!
Julia Prisock (Taylor Wedell / Ensemble) is excited to join the Fine Arts Center for her first year with the Youth Reparatory Ensemble. She has previously appeared on stage at Cape Fear Regional Theater, NC, ACT Theater, and Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School. Credits include: How Far Will You Go Dr. Seuss?; Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham; Willy Wonka, Schoolhouse Rock Live; and 2024 Musical Review. She wants to thank Mrs. Cindy Sauders, her voice teacher, as well as her Mom and Dad for supporting her love of the Arts!
Garret Pyle (Light Board Op) is thrilled to be making his Fine Arts Center debut with Mean Girls: High School Version. He’s excited to put on a great show and hopes you enjoy it!
Miller Rawlinson (Aaron Samuels) is starting his theatre career at the Fine Arts Center with the wonderful cast and directing team of Mean Girls: High School Version. Miller has previously been in Hello Dolly (Stanley), Les Misérables (Combeferre), Frozen (Olaf), Tuck Everlasting (Hugo), and Newsies (Tommy Boy). He enjoys dancing, having been trained for several years in tap and other dance styles. Miller would like to thank his family for their support and his best friend in the world - his dog Boomer.
Zeke Redfern (Mr. Duvall / Mathlete #1 / Ensemble) has performed with the FAC Youth Repertory Program three times now, having previously played Willard Hewitt in Footloose and various roles in Anyone Can Whistle. He has taken regular voice and guitar lessons for the past several years and provides his services as a voice actor online.
Viola Catherine Shaver (Jason W. / Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the stage again, as performing is her passion. Offstage, you can find Viola with her friends, taking ballet, or practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. On the screen, she has appeared in Second Chances (Bucket List Productions) and The Creep Behind the Camera (Slithering Carpet Film Productions). On stage, she appeared in Alice in Wonderland,

Winn Sienkowski (Martin / Shane Oman / Ensemble) is a Junior at Palmer Ridge High School and is thankful to be part of this season’s Youth Repertory Ensemble. Mimi Simpfendorfer (Cady Heron) is so excited to make her FAC debut and perform in the Youth Repertory Ensemble. She has been a fan of Mean Girls for years and is so grateful to have been given the opportunity to play Cady Heron. She wishes to thank her family and the Youth Rep team for helping and supporting her on this journey.
Ben Walla (Light Board Op) is excited to work on Mean Girls: High School Version! He has been a part of lighting and construction teams on other shows, including Grease and The Little Mermaid. He is happy to continue his theatre education with the Youth Repertory Ensemble and looks forward to working on future productions. He sends gratitude to his parents who have done so much to make his dream of theater a reality.

Jacksun Wesson (Mr. Heron / Mathlete Captain/ Ensemble) is excited to be participating in Mean Girls at the FAC. He previously performed in his school’s productions of A New World of Kindness and Threads of Connection Jacksun sends his love and thanks to his supportive mother and grandmother for paying for this experience and to the FAC Theatre Company who gave him a scholarship.
Tim Williams (Deck Crew / Props Supervisor) is delighted to be joining the Youth Repertory Ensemble for the first time as a design technician for Mean Girls: High School Version! At Liberty High School, he has been a part of the props and design tech teams for The Curious Savage and The Addams Family. More recently, he was Apprentice Prop Master for Trap and Curtains, which won him awards for Most Promising Apprentice. Tim would like to thank his best friends and family for supporting him in his interest in the performing arts, as well as the amazing directors at Liberty for guiding him through each production. He is absolutely joyful to have the honor and capability to contribute to the outstanding technical elements of this show and he hopes to take what he learns here into a future in theatre.
Aleassa Wimbley (Coach Carr / Ensemble) is excited to participate for her first time in the Youth Repertory Ensemble! Having acted since the age of 7, some past credits include Our Souls at Night (Netflix), Mirror Mirror, All Together Now! - A Global Theatre Event, Alice in Wonderland, Trap, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In 2023, she rated “Superior” with the Colorado State Thespian Conference and was inducted in the International Thespian Society in May 2024. Aleassa has an interest in all facets of puppetry, having created some of her own, and hopes to continue expanding her talents in theater. Piper Nichols (French Teacher / 3rd Mathlete / Ensemble) is so excited to be back for her second show at the FAC and the Youth Repertory Ensemble. She has been acting since she was a young child and has done productions with companies including the Fine Arts Network, Shakespeare in the Vines, and Norris Performing Arts Center as well as participating in high school theatre. This past year saw Piper participate in her school’s jazz choir and voice lessons. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Shabazz Green (Director) is truly ecstatic to return to this summer’s Youth Rep after last year’s incredible production of Footloose. A New Jersey native, with a degree in Theatre Education from Kean University, Shabazz is an avid teaching artist with the philosophy “Tell The Story.” As a performer, he is no stranger to Colorado performing in: Oklahoma! and A Christmas Carol (Denver Center); Cinderella, Hands on a Hardbody (CS Fine Arts Center); Topdog/Underdog and Sister Act (Lake Dillon Theatre Company). Notable New York credits include Bars and Measures (Urban Stages); Philosophy for Gangsters (Beckett Theatre); Intruder: The Musical (Hudson Guild). Liz Lee (Stage Manager): is excited to make her Stage Management debut at the Fine Arts Center along side talented designers, technicians & performers. Throughout her career, she has worked in Theatre, Dance, Opera, Virtual Production, Music Recitals & Live Events. She received her M.F.A. in Design & Technology - Stage Management at UMKC (24) & B.A. in Theatre & English Writing at Hastings College (21). Holly Anne Rawls (Resident Lighting Designer/Lighting Director) graduated from CU Boulder a long time ago with a lucrative pair of degrees – Technical Theatre and Anthropology. For the past eighteen seasons at the FAC she has
held the position of master electrician, Lighting Director, and Resident Lighting Designer, and has helped build the technical side of the Youth Rep program. In addition, she has designed many, many FAC productions including The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (for which she won the 2020 Henry Award for Lighting Design), Intimate Apparel, Fun Home (for which she won the 2017 Henry Award for Lighting Design), Barnum, Man of La Mancha (for which she won the 2016 Henry Award for Lighting Design), 4000 Miles, The Wizard of Oz (for which she won a joint PPAC award), Gypsy, Other Desert Cities, and Sweeney Todd (for which she won a Denver Post Ovation award). Before joining the FAC, Holly worked for the Lyric Music Theatre and Macky Auditorium at CU Boulder and taught technical theatre at Lewis Palmer High School. Amaya Egusquiza (Costume Designer) A seamstress, vintage hound and creative crafter originally from Nampa, Idaho, Amaya received her Bachelor’s in Theater from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. After graduation she relocated to Corvallis, Oregon where she honed her skills as a theater professional through her work as Education Director for the Majestic Theatre, company member at Willamette Stage Company and co-founder of Pipe Dream Theater. She is Interim Costume Shop Manager and instructor at the Fine Arts Center, and is excited to be designing for Youth Rep this year!
Tracy Nicole Taylor (Choreographer) thinks it’s so “fetch” to return for her second year with the Youth Repertory program. Tracy has performed and worked as a teaching artist at the FAC for over a decade. On stage, Tracy was most recently seen at the FAC in ELF, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and RENT. Other favorite FAC credits: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Woman), Cinderella (Ensemble/ Stepsisters u/s), Crazy for You and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Regional credits: Jacqueline-La Cage aux Folles (Littleton Town Hall Arts Center), SWING! (Country Dinner Playhouse), Theatre Across Borders, My Partner/Grease (The Butte Theatre), and Oklahoma! Sarah Sheppard Shaver she/her (Intimacy Choreographer) has her MFA in Theatre Arts and is the chair of the Theatre Department at Pikes Peak State College. She is a founding member of Springs Ensemble Theatre, where she produces, performs, directs, intimacy choreographs, and designs. She hopes to spread the good news about Theatrical Intimacy Education to the community and normalize a culture of safety and consent in the rehearsal room. Thank you to the Mean Girls production leadership team for supporting this important work.
Chengxi “Daniel” Wu (Youth Rep Assistant Coordinator) has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of FAC’s production of Mean Girls: High School Version. Favorite experiences include costume designing for Rocky Horror Picture Show (Colorado College Music Department), directing Almost, Maine (Theatre Workshop at Colorado College), and most recently acting as A in Ostrich in the Room (Theatre Workshop at Colorado College). Will always quote Friends and any Marvel movies. Shout out to Katrina Elsen for guiding me on this path since 2018!

J. Chang-Tablada (Music Director) is thrilled to be in his 8th season of music directing and performing at the Fine Arts Center! Thank you to this incredible cast and creative team for making this show a DREAM! Happy Holidays to all!!! ChangTablada, a mixed-race Asian American artist of Filipino, Korean, and Irish descent, LOVES the FAC’s commitment to representation in live theatre. J. Is honored to be one of Colorado Springs’ most prolific Music Directors, known for his work with the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, Theatreworks, and the Millibo Art Theatre. An accomplished entertainer in his own right, J. frequently takes the stage himself and is so excited to bring his solo cabaret residency, “Songs in the Key of J.” To the Fine Arts Center’s 2024-2025 Season. @ jchangtablada
Jay McGuffin (Electric Bass) is currently the Orchestra Director and Guitar Instructor at Castle View High School in Castle Rock. Jay is excited to be back for his 33rd show at the FAC! As a multi-string specialist, he has also performed on violin, cello, and guitar. As an educator in Musical Theatre, the Castle View High School Theatre Company has received 12 Bobby G nominations since 2018, winning 6 awards total including Outstanding Musical Direction (2018, Les Misérables) and Overall Best Production of a Musical (2019, Mamma Mia!). He has music directed several shows, most recently Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In Total, he has performed in and/or directed over 60 shows in his career. The Castle View Chamber Orchestra under his direction was nominated to the State Orchestra Finals held by the Colorado Chapter of American String Teachers Association in 2020 & 2022. In his free time, he performs in several music groups across the Front Range including The Chamber Orchestra of the Springs (principal bassist) and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Jay would like to thank his wife Stephanie and their son Michael for all their continued support!
Simon Jacobs (Keyboard) enjoys a multifaceted musical career as an organist, conductor, pianist and singer throughout the United States and Europe. He was born in Truro, Cornwall, UK to a musical family, and received his early musical training as a full-time boy chorister. He went on to receive degrees in music and choral conducting from Cambridge University and Yale University. Simon has given organ concerts, conducted choirs, and collaborated with many wellknown musicians at prestigious venues around the world, and is equally at home working in the classical, jazz, and musical theatre fields. Simon is an on-air radio host at Colorado Springs’ local classical and jazz music stations, KCME 88.7 and Jazz 93.5, where he is delighted to share his musical passions and expertise with the wider community. At KCME, he presents several special programs, such as The King of Instruments, Choral Splendour and The Bach Legacy. He also leads the Classics For Kids outreach program at KCME, going into local schools and fostering a love of classical music among the next generation. Brian Hobson (Percussion) was raised by music loving, Volkswagen driving, peaceloving hippies. During high school, he played drums in various cover bands as a summer job and went on to study Percussion Performance at the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho. He is a veteran of the 504th Air Force Band at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California. While in the Air Force, Brian toured and recorded with the Commanders Jazz Band and Wind Ensembles. Brian is a big fan of musical theater and has been playing shows at the FAC since 2017. He is currently living in Woodland Park with his wife Cathleen and their Goldendoodle, Angus.
