AGES 8–10 | EMERGING ARTISTS

Creating Characters

Learn the fundamentals of acting in this fun and collaborative class. Develop characters, tell a story, and work with others through theatre games and scripted text. June 13–24 2 wks 12:45–4 p.m. $250 ($225 FAC members)

Musical Theatre Madness

Who doesn’t love a musical filled with exuberant dancing, rich singing, and focused acting? A musical theatre intensive for emerging artists. June 13–24 2 wks 9 a.m.–12:15 p.m. $250 ($225 FAC members)

Best of Both Worlds

For students who don’t want to choose, experience a combination of our Creating Characters and Musical Theatre Madness classes. Take a deep dive into different theatrical themes — acting, dancing, design, playwriting, and collaboration in this high-energy and interactive class. Music and Theatre Exploration

Theatre fundamentals, collaborative process, skills building, and fun are the foundational elements of this interactive class designed for students who yearn to further develop their love and skills for music and theatre. June 13–24 2 wks 9 a.m.–4 p.m. $375 ($350 FAC members)

Art in ACTion

*NEW* Devise a new piece of theatre through conversation, collaboration, and experimentation. Guided discussion and theatre exercises focused on the issues facing middle schoolers, our local community, and the national landscape will result in a brand new, one-of-a-kind performance created by the students of this class. Singing, dancing, acting, writing, designing, directing, and activism in the arts will all be explored in the class. July 25–Aug. 5 2 wks 9 a.m.–12:15 p.m. $250 ($225 FAC members)

AGES 14–18 | YOUTH REP ENSEMBLE

Youth Rep Ensemble

The FAC’s Youth Repertory Theatre program is the premier professional training program for student actors and design technicians in the Pikes Peak region. A five-week intensive training program for students interested in pursuing careers in performance and/or design & technical theatre.
