Take advantage of this unique opportunity for a mindful oneon-one semi-private studio experience. Learn slab construction and glazing techniques to hand build two tantalizing mugs from textured clay slabs. Move from flat to free-standing using simple measurements and flat patterns. Build mugs that are round, oval, three or four footed, or darted with pedestals. You won’t be able to resist filling your mugs with your favorite beverage! Supply list online. Spend three hours learning to refine your black and white darkroom printing skills with private instruction in contrast filters, split-filter printing, cropping, and positioning for artful presentations. This darkroom experience will help you bring your printing skills to the next level and encourage you to produce prints that you will be excited to enter in local photography exhibitions.
