Virtual Youth Courses

Virtual courses and workshops are facilitated using Zoom video conferencing platform, prerecorded video content, and other virtual tools. Virtual courses may offer live Zoom studio hours in addition to live Zoom course instruction to provide students with time to work on course projects while the instructor is available to offer personalized feedback and assistance. To participate in virtual courses, students will need access to a computer or smartphone with video and audio capabilities and an internet connection. We encourage our students to browse through the Zoom website’s Frequently Asked Questions page and video tutorials to ensure that they are familiarized with Zoom and ready to create when classes begin!

AGES 9–12

Virtual: 2D Creature Design

Instructor: Jantzen Peake In this fun introduction to 2D creature design, we will dive into 2D drawing techniques, explore different art mediums, learn about color theory, and create our very own creature characters. Instructor: Jantzen Peake This introduction to acrylic painting is a fun way to breathe new life into your paintings! Learn fundamental techniques of drawing in different mediums.
