A Better Carwash 730 Heritage Rd., Golden 14835 W. 64th Ave., Arvada Founded: 2005 Owner: Jim Beetham

Car washes are everywhere! In fact, Colorado weather is terrible for cars which means there are probably more car wash businesses in Colorado than other states. How does a car wash business succeed when every gas station on every corner has a machine that squirts water on a car? Jim Beetham is the owner of two car washes that do well in this tough economy because he believes that to succeed in any business, one must simply stand out as doing a better job! The locations for A BETTER CARWASH are quite busy in Golden and Arvada and, in fact, they were voted as “BEST OF JEFFCO” in 2011 and recognized year

Top: Golden location, Bottom: Arvada location. after year as a local favorite. That was not easy considering that there are probably a couple hundred carwashes in the county. So, “Better is more than just part of the name,” says Mr. Beetham. “It means that we actually must do everything better than the others in order to live up to our claim...and our name.” The facilities must be cleaner, well lighted, and maintained better than the

rest. The equipment must be only the very best that money can buy. The chemicals that clean cars must be the best that technology offers. The water used must be heated, softened and filtered through reverse osmosis. Everything must be as earth friendly as possible. If something is ever less than the best, you should be able to call and reach the owner anytime, 24/7, in order to be satisfied. Your vehicle must be cleaner and you must be happier than if you went anywhere else. It means a lot! Henry John Heinz once said that “To do a common thing uncommonly well brings success,” and those words have led to a philosophy applied to car washing at A BETTER CARWASH. Get your car good and dirty driving in Colorado and then stop by one of the 2 locations that will get it cleaner better than anywhere else.

29 years of solid concrete work BizFACTS

Applewood Quality Builders 2700 Youngfield St., Ste 180 Lakewood Founded: 1984 Owner: Thomas Yang

29 years ago in 1984, Applewood Quality Builders started their business in the general contracting industry, providing mostly remodeling work for residential customers, commercial tenant finish, general roofing replacement and concrete work. Applewood Quality Builders continued in this area of work until 1993, when they were contracted to install RTD bus shelters throughout the metro-Denver area. The RTD shelters kept the company busy for several years and Applewood Quality Builders decided in 1998 to scale down the volume of residential and commercial projects.

The construction business that they decided to continue with was the concrete related projects. In 2000, Applewood Quality Builders took over the property maintenance for its sister company, Applewood Office Park, and to this day handle all the ongoing tenant finish, office remodeling work, and building operations for several commercial buildings. Today, Applewood Quality Builders does only concrete work such as concrete driveways, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, basement floors and concrete structural repair. Applewood Quality Builders has the equipment to do the excavation, preparation, forming and pouring for any type of concrete related work. They also do color and patterned stamp concrete work. Addenbrooke Classical Academy 480 S. Kipling, Lakewood Founded: 2013 Executive Director: Charles Wright

Addenbrooke Classical Academy is excited to open as a new Jeffco Charter School the Fall of 2013 that combines musical disciplines with rigorous college preparatory academics; a unique option for Jefferson County, having researched driven results. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will provide instruction at both the junior high and high school levels. Music instruction will be blended with technology and academics, consisting of Core Knowledge and the Classical model. Furthermore, Addenbrooke Classical Academy will develop and implement educational programs that are directed toward developing high ethical standards, along

with building social skills and upright character. The emphasis on good character will further the student’s academic skills which, in turn, will help to build the necessary competencies of self-esteem, respect for themselves and others, and personal discipline. Balanced combinations of these skills equip students with the ability to choose wisely. These expectations, though high, can and will be achieved. Students, when expectations are high, will generally be equal to the task at hand, as long the expectations are realistic and logical. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will strive to cultivate a thriving student body that is active and longing to learn. Most courses will be presentation-oriented to display actual learning and development of thought through seminars and musical performances. Addenbrooke will partner with iSchool to become a SMART School campus. iPads will be provided for each student with total integration into the instruc-

tion and curriculum of the Academy. This will be in conjunction with and guidance from iSchool. Each teacher and student will be taught how to integrate the iPad into the curriculum so that the iPad will not be simply an attraction or gimmick for students, but will also be used to close the achievement gap between students and assist in differentiation. The “campus” in the iSchool company name refers to each person adopting the technology and hopping on board. It has been our experience that when everyone in the building jumps in with both feet and the technology “just works” every time, the adoption rates and overall value of a technology transition is greatly enhanced. We are truly excited for the future of Addenbrooke Classical Academy and the opportunities that are before us. We begin accepting enrollment applications for the second window of enrollment on February 19th and will continue through August 31st.

OPENING IN 2013 Addenbrooke Classical Academy endeavors to provide a challenging, supportive environment that cultivates intellectual growth, social awareness, and personal responsibility.Through our required Music program, Core-Knowledge and Classical curriculums implemented within a SMART school, students will reach their full potential. 2012 Home Performance Contractor of the Year BizFACTS Bestway Insulation Broomfield Founded: 1976 Owner: Debbie Weingardt

Bestway Insulation has been in Business since 1976. We are a company that always experiments to get the highest results in the state. We strive to educate our employees to all become Building Performance Institute educated and certified. We feel by education and experimentation we can give your home the best results. I have just recently worked with NREL and the Department of Energy to develop the New National Standards of Insulation and Weatherization using our techniques. We have developed methods of compressing fiberglass in walls for the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000 homes and re-blowing it with cellulose to stop wind penetration. We can even do this on a brand new home and get their bills 40-50% reduced. We have proved this numerous times with the energy makeover contests with Xcel and the Energy Efficient

Building Coalition. We have donated, redoing over 11 homes in donations to the community to show testing scores. For the Easter Seals homes in Empire, Colorado, there were 40 of us in the Auditing, Insulation, Solar and Air Sealing fields that went up there to donate our time to make the cabins more comfortable for the kids and fuel efficient for the organization. Each company was given two homes to do. Where the others were getting 50 to 200 CFM reduction, we got 1300 and 1500 CFM reduction on the cabins we did. In other words, we reduced their natural air changes per hour hugely. We are always striving to give back to the community, but mostly to our planet. Thus our slogan SAVING OUR PLANET ONE HOUSE AT A TIME. In the past with new construction contractors it has always been how fast you can insulate a home and take whatever short cuts you can without getting caught. I am not that way because you need to be slower and precise to do the job correctly and make the home energy efficient so we stop heating up the planet and wasting energy. We have been to several Global Climate Conferences to help slow

down the heating of this planet if possible. We were one of two companies invited to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s in California and listened to people all over the world talk about the droughts in their countries and though we can’t do it all at least we are making a dent in Colorado. We are a family business that refuses to be bought out by corporations that would ruin what we are trying to do. It’s not all about the money. It’s about the results we are getting. My two sons will take over the business sometime in the future to make sure that homes are going to be done correctly. I believe we have instilled quality not quantity and know how important air sealing is, the best and proper materials for each job, and the im-

portance of knowing building science. When asked to give a bid on insulating the governor’s mansion, I was told there was a 2000 sq. ft. attic to be done. I was also told that no one could live in the mansion during the winter, but the Ritters wanted to. I knew the attic had to be much bigger than 2000 sq. ft. and the walls went straight up. It wasn’t an A-frame home. I looked outside the box. I asked if we could bring in infrared cameras and blower door and with the help of Nancy Kellogg’s blower door and camera, we found a 4000 sq. ft. attic space that was hiding behind a wall in the main attic. We got past that and found three other add-on attics. We found an elevator shaft, two dumb waiter shafts and four

4x4 chases that went down four stories. We also found 250 sq. ft. of chases behind the knee walls. I was told that the Ritters would use up to 14 blankets each to watch TV to keep from freezing and they had up to 85-mile-an-hour winds blowing through their home with all the wind tunnels we found. In order to sleep, they would have to turn their electric blankets up to 10 and pile five regular blankets on that in order to make it through the night. I bet Governor Ritter’s daughter that she wouldn’t need those blankets when we got done. I won the bet. We reduced the governor’s mansions utility bills 10 fold.

Meyer Hardware, a family legacy BizFACTS Meyer Hardware 1103 Arapahoe St., Golden Founded: 1945 Owners: Steve & Karla Schaefer

In 1945, Joe and Ruby Meyer moved from Nebraska and settled in Golden where they bought a hardware store from E.G. Son.

It was then that the Meyer Hardware legacy began. Their daughter and sonin-law, Marilyn and Harold Schaefer, eventually joined them and helped to create one of the best hardware stores in Metro Denver. Today, the Schaefer’s sons, Steve and Jim are carrying on the family tradition. Jim works as a salesperson, and Steve is President of the Corporation. After expanding over eight times since 1945, the business now operates out of a

21,000 square foot building. Customer service has always been Meyer Hardware’s most important competitive advantage. It employs knowledgeable and friendly people and maintains a staff of 20 with a total of 355 years of service. As Steve states, “We pride ourselves on being a service-oriented store. If you can’t find something here, we will try to order it for you.” Definitely drop in and see what Meyer Hardware has to offer.

Business Healthy in Wheat Ridge BizFACTS City of Wheat Ridge 7500 W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge Founded: 1969

In late 2012 the city conducted the city’s first-ever Business Walk visiting almost 200 businesses. The walk gauged the pulse of business in Wheat Ridge. Four questions were asked that are being used for retention, expansion and attraction efforts. • How’s business? • How do you think business will be in the next 1224 months? • What do you like about doing business in Wheat Ridge? • How can business be made better? The 2-person teams canvassed every part of the city

including retail, service and industrial business sectors. The teams provided the business with a package of materials containing information on city, county, state and other business assistance programs.

How is Business? 88% indicated that business is at least good or steady. Of those businesses that reported that business is poor, a variety of reasons were cited but generally related to a shift in consumer spending, a lack of customers, and the general economy of the U.S.

How will business be in the next 12-24 months? 75% stated they believe that business will get better over the next year or two. The optimism related to improvement in the economy, housing starts, better planning, and even the local, state and national elections.

What do you like about doing business in Wheat Ridge? 46% indicated it was the location. The second most common single response was the community of Wheat Ridge. Many owners live in Wheat Ridge and plan to stay in the area for an extended period of time. Clientele was the third mostmentioned response. 20% of respondents listed more than one reason they liked doing business in Wheat Ridge.

How can business be made better? Creating a healthy business environment and working along-side our partners such as the Wheat Ridge Business Association, Wheat Ridge 2020, Wheat Ridge Business District and the Wheat Ridge Housing Authority is making Wheat Ridge a premier location for business. The Arvada Visitors Center is here to serve you! BizFACTS Arvada Visitors Center 7305 Grandview Ave., Arvada Founded: 2012 Owner: City of Arvada

In Arvada, the sentiment “I love that place!” is said often and proudly. Arvada is a community unlike many others. Arvada consistently competes with the larger metropolitan areas in the areas of business and commerce but retains its small-town charm that other suburbs can’t replicate. Thinking along those lines, and wanting to develop a stronger way to market and promote our beautiful city, the City of Arvada and the Arvada Chamber of Commerce are pleased to welcome the newly created Arvada Visitors Center (AVC). The AVC will serve as a resource for residents of Arvada and those guests visiting the area. Located in Historic Olde Town Arvada at 7305 Grandview Avenue, the AVC is primed to be a one-stop

shop for all activities, events and promotions happening in the area. The AVC employees will be able to provide recommendations about where to shop, eat and play in Denver’s premier northwest suburb. “The decision by the Arvada City Council to support the Arvada Visitors Center demonstrates an investment in promoting information about our great community to visitors who will discover some of the assets that make Arvada such a great place to explore,” said Mayor Marc Williams. The AVC will offer a wealth of information (free of charge) to include maps, brochures, directories, local menus and special discounts and offers from area merchants. Secondarily, the Visitors Center will be working with local businesses and organizations to ensure Arvada is appropriately represented and positioned to attract major events, tournaments and competitions in the coming years. Relationships will be developed to create new

partnerships and promotions on a statewide and regional level to raise the overall level of awareness of our city and encourage guests to visit. The AVC will also be managing a website and social media outlets to keep the information flow current. The new website, visitarvada.org, is set to launch in February. “We look forward to connecting with all local retailers, restaurants, and organizations. We encourage local businesses to stop by and say hello. The more we know about what exciting events and activities are taking place around town, the stronger the Visitors Center will be,” said Jean Gordon, Executive Director. The Arvada Visitors Center is open 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on the weekends. For more information about the Arvada Visitors Center, contact Jean Gordon at 720-898-3380 or jean@visitarvada.org. Jalopyz Hot Rod Gift Shop was born of Brent and Vicky Decker’s love for the car culture. This unique Golden shop reaches into the past and

brings out memories: of a first car, a first date, the Drive-In, car hops on roller skates, service from a gas station, or a race won on a road just of town. Jalopyz offers automobile-themed art work for garage, office, or home from local artists, and the Deckers are proud to be a place for gear heads to bring performance parts to sell and buy. They stock classic memorabilia of the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, Surf and Rock-a Billy Music, and Hot Rod movies, and books. They carry Hot Rod and Biker

apparel and classic logo Tshirts for historic Holley Carburetors, Hooker Headers, Voodoo Cam shafts, Lakeside Speedway and Daredevil apparel, the famous Route 66 apparel, leather vests and jackets for both sexes and house-designed Jalopyz wear. Going local: the secret to big success BizFACTS Colorado Community Media 110 N. Rubey Dr., Ste 120 Golden President/Publisher: Jerry Healey

In the increasingly fragmented media world, newspapers reach the highestquality citizens. Despite the notion that newspapers are dead or dying, community newspapers with their hyper-local news, enjoy a sustainable readership. Residents report reading their local community paper from cover to cover, and find the news more relevant than in bigger metro papers. Colorado Community Media embraces all things local. We are nearly one year into our new venture, combining 22 Denver area community newspapers and media sites covering more than 185,000 residences. Often, our papers reach readers that big daily papers do not, creating a better and more profitable response for our advertisers, large and small. In 2012, our publications won more than 90 awards in the Colorado Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. Better content is drawing more readers to both our print and online outlets. Our stories cover local policy-making, high school sports, new business openings, special events and more. We cover the big stories, too, but always include the impact on your community.

Introducing ShopLocalColorado.com Colorado Community Media recently launched Shop Local Colorado in support of local businesses and of businesses that operate in our wide coverage area. The program includes all print advertisements in an online directory, making it fast and easy for residents to find the newest community services, deals and events. Colorado Community Media is both a locally owned business and an advocate for keeping your spending dollars local. Our primary focus is on businesses owned and operated in your community. However, we also understand the value of large companies locating in our communities and the positive impact they can have on our tax base and our employment. Local businesses and locally operating businesses are also more likely to give back to the community through sponsorship of local activities and events.

Keeping it local can have tremendous pay-offs Colorado Community Media champions news, actions and businesses in

our local communities. Our growing suite of advertising products and services seek to help our local colleagues succeed in business, and our friends and neighbors to find those businesses.

• Readers actively seek out new local events, activities and deals in our papers and our web and social media sites. • We create new awareness of your company and brand to a highly affluent group of readers. • We help you get your ad created...at no charge. That’s right. We still hold the belief that your desire to find new local customers should be supported by our local advertising expertise. We’ll help you determine which papers and sites to advertise on and design an ad that will reach your desired audience.

We are most satisfied with our jobs when we are keeping our local readers informed, whether it’s breaking or feel-good news, the latest event, a new store opening, or a can’t-miss deal. If it’s local, we’re on it. Join us in keeping it local.

It’s an exciting year at the Arvada Center! BizFACTS Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada Founded: July 4, 1976 Owner: City of Arvada

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is one of the nation’s largest multidisciplinary cultural centers welcoming over 350,000 visitors a year to its 144,000 sq. ft. building. With award-winning theater, visual art exhibitions, outdoor amphitheater and classes for children and adults alike, the Arvada Center is recognized as a premiere venue for arts, culture, and education in the Rocky Mountain region. In recent years, the Arvada Center expanded its range of programming and regional base of support through creative collaborations and strategic alignments with cultural, civic and commercial organizations throughout the state. The Center’s cooperative business approach has been demonstrated throughout the entire

organization, highlighting partnerships in the Center’s theaters, galleries, educational division and outdoor summer programming. The Arvada Center is one of the largest employers in the City of Arvada operating with an annual $10M budget and employing over 300 people on a year round and seasonal basis. From administration to education, visual and performance, many artists, actors, teachers and staff have helped the Center become one of the premiere venues for arts employment. Coming into 2013, exciting changes are happening around the Center. The 526 seat Main Stage, home to award winning musicals upgraded with new theater seats offering better cushioning and support. The response has been terrific as patrons settled into another great season of theater. The Center’s Main Gallery is going through a transition by replacing existing carpeting with polished concrete flooring, making the area more aesthetically pleasing. The most significant change is the announcement of a new Ex-

ecutive Director. In February, the staff will welcome Philip C. Sneed to the top position at the Center. Sneed has an extensive arts background, most recently serving as Producing Artistic Director at Colorado Shakespeare Festival. The Arvada Center provides the best in arts education with over 900 classes and well regarded spring and summer camps. The popular children’s theater program is currently offering No Dogs Allowed which will be seen by as many as 1,000 school children daily. Many students stay after the show to participate in an Arts Day program - a fun, educational hands on experience that enhances their theater experience. In 2011 more than 35,000 children participated in Arts Day or an Outreach program that goes directly into schools. The Arvada Center Education division includes integrated programming that provides young artists the opportunity to receive advance training. The Drama Academy offers students instruction in all aspects of theater arts. Last fall, the Center launched a new initiative, the Arvada Center

Theater Academy Company, an intensive program offering students the opportunity to work alongside professional educators. Young dancers eagerly sign up for training in ballet, jazz and modern dance offered through the Dance Academy and perform in spring recitals each year. Aspiring musicians study with the Front Range Youth Symphony Orchestra, an enhancement to school music programs offering advanced training in symphony and chamber orchestras and concert strings. Students perform three annual concerts on the Main Stage. The Arvada Center is recognized for the quality of its shows created at the Center and was recently awarded “Best Season for a Theatre Company” from the Colorado Theatre Guild. The theater’s popular series averages 5,700+ season subscribers. The current season continues with the musical, Man of La Mancha, followed by the hilarious play Dividing the Estate and closing with the whodunit musical comedy Curtains in July. The upcoming season will be announced in spring and promises to be filled

with great selections for all theater enthusiasts. The Galleries at the Center offer some of the best visual art in the region and the current exhibition is no exception. Art of the State, a juried exhibition of 160 Colorado artists is showing in all three galleries (over 10,000 sq. ft.). In April, the 42nd Annual Jefferson Foundation High School Art Exhibition will feature works from Jefferson County high schools. The Arvada Center is home to the Arvada History Museum. The museum offers the opportunity for visitors to learn about the history of Arvada through its extensive collection of artifacts and displays. The popular CenterFest Summer Series returns to the 1,600 seat amphitheater. CenterFest provides collaborative opportunities to area performing arts groups to perform in a beautiful outdoor setting. Concerts will also heat up the amphitheater with national acts produced by Nobody In Particular Presents.

In addition to providing its members with convenient products and services, Sooper Credit Union strives to continually serve the communities in which it operates. In 2011, Sooper Credit Union became the title sponsor for the Summer Wine Classic - a wine event that raises money to support Stride. Stride is a Lakewood nonprofit that serves over 150 families in Jefferson County. They offer financial, career and education counseling to low-income and homeless families. They also provide housing assistance to these families as they help them work to become selfsufficient and attain middle class status. According to Mike Litzau, Executive Vice President of Corporate at Sooper Credit Union, the partnership be-

tween Sooper Credit Union and Stride was a perfect match. “Stride’s mission to ‘provide families with services and a personalized plan to attain economic independence and break the cycle of poverty’ goes hand in hand with the credit union philosophy. Credit Unions as a whole have a motto of ‘people helping people’ and that’s exactly what Stride is all about.” The Summer Wine Classic is an annual event presented by Stride and Sooper Credit Union. Held at Balistreri Vineyards in Arvada on June 28, 2013, the event offers hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting and the chance to make a difference in the lives of struggling Denver families. Developing Leaders Prime Focus for The West Chamber BizFACTS The West Chamber Lakewood Founded: 1947 President & CEO: Brian Willms

On May 10, 2013 The West Chamber will host its third annual Chick-fil-A Leadercast event. This full-day seminar broadcasts live from Atlanta and offers an exceptional day of professional development featuring nine captivating business, sports and leadership visionaries. Come to be challenged, inspired and encouraged. This year’s lineup includes David Allen, best-selling author of Getting Things Done and productivity expert, Dr. Henry Cloud, best-selling author and leadership consultant, Mike Krzyzewski, head men’s basketball coach, Duke University and Team USA and Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State from 20052009. The theme, “Simply Lead,” reinforces that true leadership

requires people to break through everyday clutter that can so easily overwhelm and instead focus on meaningful goals. This event is part of a larger ongoing commitment by The West Chamber to develop leaders in Jefferson County. The West Chamber Foundation was established in 1985 to provide support for programs benefiting the Chamber’s members, and today its sole focus is on leadership development. “The broad goals of The Foundation are to connect and teach people about the community they live and work in, while motivating them to become more involved in Jefferson County,” Marta Murray, Executive Director of The West Chamber Foundation said. Leadership Jefferson County (LJC) was the original program created by The West Chamber Foundation to identify and develop community leaders. Each year, interested business people living or working in Jefferson County apply and around 30 are selected to take part in the ten-month-long course. Each full-day monthly session

from September to June focuses on one aspect of the community and emphasizes a key leadership concept. Monthly sessions include business, health, human services, education, justice, arts, and government. Through this process, community leaders are acquainted with needs and issues facing Jefferson County and encouraged to focus on alternative solutions. “Economic vitality of a region is closely tied to the effectiveness of the region’s leadership,” Brian Willms, president/CEO of The West Chamber and a member of the current LJC class said. “Strong leaders posses the vision to create a social and public policy environment conducive to business success, which is key for our members.” Once an individual graduates from the program, they become a member of the Leadership Jefferson County Alumni Association. This elite group continues to encourage community involvement and offer leadership development opportunities, such as the Chickfil-A Leadercast event.

Closely modeled after the adult program, Youth Leadership Jefferson County (YLJC) was created in 1999 by Lakewood High School alum Michael Dawson through the Lutheran Medical Center. In 2003, The West Chamber Foundation took over this facet of the leadership program as well. Just like the adult program, YLJC focuses on one aspect of the community coupled with an applicable leadership characteristic for one full day each month. This branch of The West Chamber Foundation is designed to give students a chance to interact with community leaders and institutions, to explore educational and career options, to experience leadership through hands-on activity and to broaden their perspective on community issues. As an out of the classroom educational day, the key message to the students of YLJC is the importance of community involvement. Josie Warren, a student at D’Evelyn and in the 2012-2013 YLJC class said of the program, “It’s like taking a field trip once a month

where you get to go behind the scenes of the professional world and learn way more than you ever will in a school day.” Applications are currently being accepted for the 2013-14 LJC/ YLJC class and can be found at www.westchamber.org. YLJC applications must be postmarked by May 6, 2013. LJC applications must be postmarked by June 28, 2013. Both programs kick off in the fall with a retreat focused on teambuilding exercises and culminate with a graduation ceremony in the spring. Youth Leadership Jefferson County is a program of The West Chamber Foundation. YLJC is supported by grants, individual donations, and business sponsorships, as well as in-kind donations. The West Chamber’s annual Taste of the West, Jefferson County’s premier culinary event, features a silent auction to help fund YLJC. Leadership Jefferson County is self sustaining through tuition for the program and in kind sponsorships. For more information about The West Chamber Foundation call 720-399-5655.

Join us for a full day leadership seminar broadcast live from Atlanta. Come to be encouraged, challenged and inspired to Simply Lead.

buyer who performs a three-step verification of the value of your items. They weigh your items and make you an offer. Then it’s up to you whether you want to walk out with a check or not. No pressure. It’s that simple, and customer service is the focus. You don’t even need to come into a store to earn extra money for your bills. They’ll help you set up a gold party in your home. “It’s like a Tupperware party,” explains Leo. “But tell your guests to leave the check book at home. They’ll take a check home instead.” And the best part is, the hostess gets a check on the spot for ten percent of the value of the gold purchased at the party, plus many other perks as well. Golden Nugget Gold Buyers has nine conveniently located stores in the Metro area, including Arvada, Aurora, Centennial, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood and Littleton. For directions or to find out more about hosting a gold party, call them at 303-425GOLD or check them out online at www.goldennuggetgoldbuyers.com.

Now is the time of year when holiday bills are due, and you still have all your other bills to pay, which likely means you’re short on cash. Why not take advantage of items that are sitting around your home collecting dust? “Gold is a very valuable commodity,” says Jeanne Leo, Vice President of Marketing at Golden Nugget Gold Buyers. “When the economy is weak and families are struggling to make ends meet, gold is a great way to generate some extra income.” With nine locations around the Metro Denver area and one in Fort Collins, Golden Nugget Gold Buyers purchases most precious metals a consumer might have on hand. Whether it’s gold, silver and

They also buy gold coins, as well as US currency – dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollars – minted before 1965. Why come to Golden Nugget Gold Buyers to sell your gold and

other precious metals when, as Leo puts it, “Everybody and their brother seem to be in the gold buying business these days?” They’re not a phone store or a pawn shop. Their stores are safe, secure and very inviting, and this is all they do. As licensed professionals in the precious metals industry, they are experts in the field. They

know the market prices and the true value of your precious metals. Not only are you certain of getting a fair deal, Leo assures you, “Sellers will get the best deal in Denver from us.
