Relay for Life of Northern Colorado
Fighting Together
Cancer can impact anyone and everyone. It does not discriminate. It takes too much from too many throughout our communities here in Northern Colorado.
This year, we invite you to join us as we support the Relay for Life of Northern Colorado. On Saturday, July 15, we gather together with people from all across our communities as we celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against this disease.
The American Cancer Society supports Relay for Life movements across the county to help raise money for cancer research, to honor those who have fought against cancer, and to help educate the public about cancer prevention and cancer research progress.
Relay for Life has a strong tradition in Northern Colorado. Many of you readers may have even attended over the years. But there is one activity that happens at Relay for Life that may get overlooked by some.
Why Do We Walk
We walk to remind ourselves that the fight against cancer is ongoing. The disease never stops, so neither can we.
We walk to remember that our fight is one shared by all of us. We’re all in it together because we’ve all faced it in some way. It’s a team effort and everyone can play an important role.
We walk to lead the fight for a world without cancer.
WE INVITE YOU TO CONSIDER JOINING US IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER.
