VANESSA SIELERT, saxophone, is Professor of Music at the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho. She is an active performer, educator and clinician who has collaborated with such ensembles as the Spokane Jazz Orchestra, Symphony Tacoma, the Bob Curnow Big Band, the Palouse Jazz Project, the Free Range Saxophone Quartet and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. CATHERINE ANDERSON, piano, is a Pacific Northwest-based pianist. She served on the faculty of the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho for ten years and has performed innumerable student and faculty solo and chamber recitals. Catherine is in demand as a highly-respected collaborative artist throughout the region, performing regularly with faculty and students from the University of Idaho, Washington State University and Central Washington University. She is often called upon to collaborate with prestigious guest artists such as John Dicesare (principal tuba), Ko-ichiro Yamamoto (principal trombone) of the Seattle Symphony and Norwegian tuba virtuoso Øystein Baadsvik
