LINK UP! THE ORCHESTRA ROCKS MAY 1 11:15a.m.
Link Up gives 4th grade students the opportunity to explore music through a yearlong curriculum of classroom activities in support of the culminating concert when students perform with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall! Teachers receive materials developed by Carnegie Hall and are guided through the program with a training session led by Colorado Symphony Teaching Artists. This year, we present The Orchestra Rocks, which is all about rhythm and groove. Classroom activities will guide students through the exploration of popular orchestra repertoire, and students will develop skills in listening, note-reading, and rhythm. Please contact Shari Myers at: smyers@coloradosymphony.org for more information.
