BIG THURSDAY Rivalry Party

On Thursday, November 21 over 300 members and guests attended the annual BIA BIG THURSDAY Rivalry Party at Carolina Haven in Columbia. The event featured steamed oysters, chicken bog, open bars and live entertainment by Prettier than Matt.

The event is a great networking opportunity for members and is a party celebrating one of the longest running football rivalries in America – Clemson vs. Univ. of S. Carolina. The oyster cooking team from Clark’s Pest Control turned out nearly 30 bushels of steamed-to-perfection oysters, the chicken bog was delicious and the VIP area was out of control with great food, champagne, and craft beer selections.

For the third time BIG THURSDAY was host to the finals of the BIA Corn Hole Tournament. Sixteen teams of two started play in October and the final four teams met at BIG THURSDAY and played for all the glory. Congratulations to Charlie Barber of Essex Homes and his wife, Lani, who came out victorious in the competition. We’ll be looking for 16 more teams to compete next year. See if you have what it takes to defeat Charlie and Lani and take home the trophies. AssociationNews
