Celebrate the benefits of being part of a community ... Community festivals offer Worthington residents many opportunities to celebrate. Now, small business owners also can celebrate the benefits of involvement in our business community through the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber members enjoy business referrals, networking and promotional opportunities, in addition to cost-saving benefits like the new SOCA Benefit Plan, a health insurance option available through our partnership with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The SOCA Benefit Plan is a self-funded insurance pool that enables small businesses with 2 to 50 employees to take advantage of a simpler process, more rate stability, and potential cost savings. As part of a larger self-funded pool, participants have financial protection backed by Anthem's stop-loss coverage, predictable fixed monthly payments, and rating stability. The plan provides access to Anthem's broad provider network, deep negotiated discounts, and health and wellness programs to support healthier employees and fewer claims. To see if your business qualifies, contact the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce for further information and a referral to an Anthem Elite or Champion health insurance broker.
