Hybrid model
Option 1
On Campus, In-Person Learning
CSG is prepared to deliver in-person classes while observing all health and safety recommendations and requirements around the COVID-19 virus. Our small class sizes put us in a fortunate position. After conducting a space study, we know that, with some modifications to programming, our main campus can accommodate all students while maintaining state and CDC physical distancing guidelines. We have also developed schedules that allow for staggered arrival or dismissal times should safety measures require us to execute them. We recognize that some students may be unable to attend, whether sick or quarantined or their family prefers they not attend in person. In that case, we will have a hybrid model in place to include remote learning.
Likely staggered arrival and dismissal times by age group with accommodations for families who have multiple children in different grades and divisions who must arrive to school at the same time.
We recognize that many families need a safe place for their children to learn and be cared for so they can return to work.
• Our youngest students (PYC and Lower School) with the greatest developmental needs for routine and consistent adult support/supervision will likely be on campus each day.
• As older students (Middle and Upper School) are able to work more independently, older students will likely be on campus most days with staggered days being implemented if needed to meet or exceed CDC recommendations.
Athletics offerings will be determined by OHSAA recommendations and requirements. Lower School Unicorn Sports will not be in session during the first semester. We will reconsider this decision for second semester, later in the fall.
After Hours Program will be determined based on the needs of families and health and safety guidelines.
Sage Dining Services has developed three phases of lunch service for reopening to provide the safest method of serving our students.
