MEDIA ARTS FACILITIES Cintiq Labs 916 S. Wabash Ave., Room 101 This lab has state-of-the-art Wacom Cintiq tablets to draw directly on the screen with a pressure-sensitive digital pen.

Fabrication Lab 916 S. Wabash Ave., 1st Floor Find the tools for wherever your project takes you in this makerspace, including: 3D printer, laser cutter, and soldering stations.

Television Studios 600 S. Michigan Ave., 15th floor Experience working on professional TV studio sets with industrystandard equipment. • Three multi-camera HD studios • 40-foot green screen cyclorama • Camera jib • Multiscreen control room

Stop-Motion Studios 1104 S. Wabash, 4th Floor Dedicated space for hand-drawn and computer animation work, and lab areas to build, shoot, and edit stop-motion projects.

VR/AR Studio 916 S. Wabash Ave., Room 131 Students can book an HTC Vive Pro station, or check out an Oculus Quest kit for at-home immersion.

Interactive Arts and Media Equipment Rental Center 916 S. Wabash Ave., 1st Floor Students can access equipment such as: game consoles, augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) equipment, 360 cameras, microphones, tripods, audio recorders, laptops, mobile devices, drawing tablets, 3D scanners, and more.

Recording Studio 916 S. Wabash Ave., Room 136

Media Production Center 1600 S. State St. Experience life in a working production facility in this 35,500-squarefoot space. Design and build sets, assemble lighting, shoot student films using state-of-the-art cinematography equipment, direct productions, and more. • 7,300-square-foot main soundstage • 2,200 square-foot second soundstage

This brand-new studio features a treated whisper room with a variety of microphones, professional headphones and monitors, a MIDI controller, and REAPER and Pro Tools software.

Audio Editing Lab 916 S. Wabash Ave., Room 204 This lab is fully sound-proofed and equipped with a Scarlet 18i20 audio interface, surround-sound speakers, a large-screen TV monitor, and a desktop loaded with REAPER, Pro Tools, Premiere, and Adobe Audition.
