Hone professional and business skills in marketing, technology, analytics, and design. Win scholarships by participating in national competitions sponsored by companies and professional organizations, such as the National Retail Federation and L’Oréal Brandstorm. Enjoy faculty-led, short-term study-away experiences in L.A., New York, London, Bath, Athens, and Berlin.

JUSTIN DOUGAN-LeBLANC Justin Dougan-LeBlanc’s interdisciplinary career spans fashion, textile art, architecture, and technology. He pushes education forward by combining the strengths of emerging technology like 3D printing with traditions of the hand. Dougan-LeBlanc is a Project Runway alum and regular subject of magazine features.

LAUREN DOWNING PETERS A respected expert on sizing and body diversity in fashion, Lauren Downing Peters consults brands on how to make their lines more inclusive. Her research looks at the relationship between dress, the body, and power. She regularly contributes to national conversations on the sizing in fashion revolution.

DANA CONNELL Director of Scholarship Initiatives and an associate professor at Columbia, Dana Connell mentors fashion students who compete in major retail competitions as well as provides expert coaching to independent retailers at RETAILMavens, a company where she helps clients improve inventory management.
