As the eldest child of four, Pauline struggles to find her place in her family. She dreams of sailing off on a boat and running away. Fortunately, she has built a secret hideaway in her crowded house. In this quiet place, she brings all of her precious belongings and gives free rein to her imagination, deeply nourished by her readings. She imagines dozens of wonderful places where she is free as a bird.
