Bridgestone partners Blume Ventures

Bridgestone India partnered with Blume Ventures in a bid to leverage the start-up ecosystem of India. Focused on the mobility solutions space, the partnership is aimed at joining the ‘Start-up India’ initiative and partnering with the ecosystem for nurturing innovation and start-ups in the mobility space. Blume Ventures is known to back entrepreneurs. The diverse mandate extends from FinTech, Commerce and Consumer internet among other realms to Deep-Tech, AI SaaS and enterprise software in the latter category. The focus is on earlystage, innovative technology-led start-ups. “The corporate venture partnership will allow us to accelerate our strategy of exploring new and disruptive models in the mobility ecosystem. As a partner, Bridgestone brings its global leadership position to the Indian market and India’s growing start-up space,” said Parag Satpute, Managing Director of Bridgestone India.
