Statiq fast charging station

EV charging network provider Statiq together with Nexus Malls has launched its first EV charging station in Amritsar at the Nexus Mall. Equipped with two fast EV DC Chargers of 60 kW each to charge all kinds of electric cars. Claimed to charge up to 80 per cent in about 40 minutes, the association marks the launch of 17 EV charging hubs across 13 cities that include Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Mangalore, Chandigarh, Mysuru, and Indore. The charging hubs in the mall parking lots will offer a combination of both slow and fast chargers.

Statiq and Zoomcar partner

Statiq has partnered with self-drive company Zoomcar to accelerate EV-based travel in the country. Under this partnership, the two will enable EV owners to host on Zoomcar and earn additional income through ride-sharing. “This collaboration will provide the much-needed impetus to the EV charging ecosystem. At the same time, it will increase the popularity of EVs among nonEV owners helping to foster a culture of clean mobility among the public,” said Akshit Bansal, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, of Statiq, in a company statement. The pilot will commence in the Delhi NCR region before further expansion.
