The team has been focused on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data in SignalPath, the Institute’s data collection platform. They have implemented procedures and guidelines to improve data entry consistency, creating templates and checklists to ensure all required fields are filled out correctly. By addressing data entry issues, they aim to have reliable and comprehensive data for reporting purposes.

Data Collection Team Showcases Research Work

One notable achievement has been the development of an interactive map for the public-facing website. This map allows users to explore research focuses, contact information, and other relevant details of facilities and divisions. It has been a longstanding goal to provide an engaging and informative platform for the public, and the progress made in creating this interactive map brings the Institute closer to that objective.

Additionally, the team is collaborating with other groups and collecting collaborative data to enhance visualizations, incorporating demographic information such as race and ethnicity to provide a comprehensive profile of their enrolled patients. This data will offer insights into the socioeconomic and demographic aspects of their research and potentially support future collaborations.

Through their efforts, the team has showcased the breadth and depth of their research activities. The team’s commitment to accurate data collection and their focus on providing a user-friendly experience demonstrate their dedication to continuous improvement in data-driven reporting.
