ZAVA da sempre crea prodotti di illuminazione e complementi d’arredo i cui tratti distintivi sono qualità, attenzione al design, creatività fuori dagli schemi e grande attenzione al dettaglio. Le collezioni ZAVA sono oggi riconosciute come una vera e propria eccellenza del made in Italy.

ZAVA was created thanks to the founder, Franco Zavarise’s creative talent and visionary energy: in his workshop he was able to combine advanced technology and wise craftsmanship in metalwork. From the very start, Zava has created lighting products and furnishings that are distinguished by high quality and design, creativity and attention to detail. The ZAVA collections are recognized for their true italian made excellency.

Artigianalità industriale In ZAVA trovano espressione la tradizione artigianale e il legame con il territorio e la sua cultura, ma anche una continua ricerca di innovazione che sfocia nell’impiego di tecnologie avanzate e macchinari di ultima generazione. Grazie a questo connubio nasce una collezione di prodotti di illuminazione assolutamente originali e fuori dagli schemi, la cui lavorazione avviene con una grande cura per i dettagli. Ogni pezzo è infatti espressione di un’insostituibile sapienza artigiana, unita a creatività e attenzione per il design. Industrial craftsmanship With ZAVA, the link between traditional craftsmanship, culture and territory finds new meaning, as does the constant search for innovation with the use of advanced technology and state of the art machinery. This combination created a completely original and out of the box lighting product collection whose manufacturing takes place thanks to great attention to detail. Every article reflects wise craftsmanship, creativity and careful design. These are the aspects that define an italian made product as well as the passion and regard for true artisan talent. ZAVA offers a unique lighting collection whose pecularity is the result of the combination between iron’s material consistency and resistence and the light’s impalpable weightlessness.

L’Azienda ZAVA nasce nel 1982. Fin dall’inizio, il naturale istinto per il design, l’esperienza nella lavorazione del metallo e la passione per l’illuminazione portano il titolare, Franco Zavarise, a immaginare un meraviglioso connubio tra queste arti; è così che l’azienda si sviluppa in questa direzione, coniugando metallo e illuminazione in modo originale ed innovativo. Da allora, quella di ZAVA è una storia di affermazione continua, costruita su valori artigianali forti e radicati e sulla continua innovazione tecnologica, che contribuiscono a rendere inconfondibile la sua capacità manifatturiera. Oggi l’azienda può, infatti, essere considerata una vera e propria eccellenza del made in Italy.

Company ZAVA was created in 1982. From the beginning, the natural instinct for design, experience in metalwork and passion for lighting inspired the owner, Franco Zavarise, to create a company that combines iron and illumination in an originale and innovative way. Since then, ZAVA has had constant success, but only thanks to the quality of radicated craftsmanship and constant technological innovation that make it’s manufacturing unmistakably unique. To this day, the company is a symbol of excellent italian made quality.

Quando ho disegnato questa lampada è stato il primo nome che mi è venuto in mente perché ho pensato alla sua forma compatta e massiccia. Soda si ispira alle vecchie lampade industriali ma si ingentilisce con il suo interno colorato a contrasto o in foglia oro, argento o rame. Cantiere, come il nome suggerisce, è una lampada da terra orientabile che si rifà al mondo dell’illuminazione tecnica per siti di costruzione ma rivisitata in chiave contemporanea ed essenziale per un ambiente domestico. L’ampio corpo illuminante circolare garantisce una generosa illuminazione e la maniglia ne invita alla presa e all’orientamento, facilitando allo stesso tempo lo spostamento dell’apparecchio tra un ambiente e l’altro, mentre la griglia rimovibile le dona carattere e un aspetto forte e deciso. LEVEL è una lampada da terra pensata per essere un reale elemento d’arredo multifunzionale che sia utilizzabile all’interno dell’ambiente domestico, sia come sorgente luminosa sia come scaffalatura o punto di ricarica per prodotti elettronici, grazie alla presenza di punti USB posti sotto il primo ripiano. Il Design di LEVEL è descritto da linee essenziali e moderne che alleggeriscono

l’intera

struttura, rendendola minimalmente funzionale ed armoniosa nelle forme, grazie al disegnod ei ripiani circolari che si ripetono verticalmente, l’intera struttura è riletta in chiave squisitamente funzionale, per mascherare al meglio i cavi e le componenti elettriche ed ottimizzare al massimo lo spazio disponibile sui ripiani e la diffusione della luce. Essenzialità e rigore d’altri tempi in REVERB: una collezione di lampade da tavolo che trae ispirazione dalle antiche lanterne a carburo. La linea rivela la presenza caratterizzante di un diffusore concavo dallo schermo circolare che si innesta su di una base cilindrica; al pari di una piccola parabola illuminante, REVERB proietta così la luce e la irradia nello spazio, per rivestire gli ambienti di caldi riflessi luminosi. La definizione delle forme dei componenti della famiglia “Tube” nasce dallo studio delle diverse esigenze illuminotecniche negli ambienti domestici e contract, esigenze che sono divenute stimolo e guida per la definizione formale del progetto. Famiglia di lampade pensate per il contract e più in generale per installazioni importanti. Volevo dare all’interior designer o al cliente finale, la possibilità di “disegnare” forme e descrivere volumi scultorei in libertà e con grande leggerezza, fornendo loro degli anelli di luce, rigidi, ma eterei. Mi piaceva l’idea di prestare la mia progettualità, il mio design ad altri professionisti, creando un semplice alfabeto, fatto di differenti diametri, di traiettorie libere e di luce per poter comporre queste mie “lettere” con grande inventiva e creare installazioni di grande impatto. LOREN ZO DA M IA N I Delineodesign Studio (Giampaolo Allocco, Master in Industrial Design) deals with all sorts of industrial design projects. He won 11 international awards and has projects displayed in the Chicago Design Museum. Three of his exhibits to remember: “But where have all the inventors gone?” Damiani did at Triennale design Museum in 2009; “Catch me if you can” also at Triennale and “Lorenzo Daminai: Style-less” at Studio Museum Achille Castiglioni, both in 2012.

AL BERTO GHIRARD EL LO Architect and designer, while teaching at IED Milan and other Italian universities, he collaborates with company as TVS, Lavazza, Fratelli Guzzini, Coop, JVL, Diamantini&Domeniconi, Bilumen, Risolí, Bosa, Pavoni Italia, Deutsche Bank. Some of his works are exhibited at the “Museu de les Arts Decoratives” in Barcelona.

Nasce a Vicenza nel 1985. Dopo la laurea in Disegno Industriale allo I.U.A.V. di Venezia nel 2007, collabora con lo studio Bartoli Design e dal 2010 al 2013 lavora nello studio di Giulio Iacchetti. Nello stesso anno fonda il proprio studio di progettazione, occupandosi di design a 360° collaborando con numerose aziende, sia italiane che estere. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati ed esposti in svariate riviste del settore.

He was born in 1985 in Vicenza. After gaining his Industrial Design bachelor degree at I.U.A.V. University of Venice in 2007, he had a six months internship at Bartoli Design studio. From 2010 to 2013 he had been working for Giulio Iacchetti’s design studio. In 2013 he founded his own design studio, working on the full spectrum of design and collaborating with several companies. His work is covered by many design magazines and exhibited in many events.

Dal 2009 è columnist di car design per Mondadori.

Nato a Montebelluna (Treviso) nel 1977, designer eclettico. Dopo la laurea in Accademia di Belle Arti, inizia l´attivitá di designer, interior designer e graphic designer. Ha indirizzato la sua ricerca verso un linguaggio formale che potremmo definire minimalista e razionale. Comincia l´attivitá professionale disegnando i suoi primi prodotti in ceramica, in seguito collabora con diverse aziende con le quali partecipa alle più importanti fiere internazionali.

Valerio Cometti, graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Milan’s Polytechnic, establishes in 2005 “Valerio Cometti+V12 Design” in Milan. Collaborations: Brionvega (television); Leucos (lamps); LaCimbali (coffee machines); Riva1920 (furniture); Fiam Italia (glass); Mediaset (electronics); FEB31st (luxurious eyewear). Since 2009, Valerio Cometti is car design columnist for Mondadori.

He currently works as a product, furniture, and interior designer, as well as being a lecturer at SSS_AA and CSIA, two schools which specialise in design and applied arts, located Switzerland. His Mambrò Design Studio, founded in Chiasso in 2011, is a significant player in the flourishing European market. For Mambrò Design Studio, rediscovering and reinterpreting tradition in a contemporary climate are achieved through morphological, technical and functional innovations.

Brian Rasmussen was born in Ringsted (Denmark) in 1973. He graduates at The Royal Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen in 2000. Already as a first year student he won the national student competition “PRISOPGAVE KØBENHAVN”(Denmark) with a project for a futuristic metro station.
