A D O P TA B L E Pet of the Week!

Hi everyone, I’m HAZEL!

I m one pretty pup if I do say so myself People seem to love my adorable freckles! I celebrate my 2nd bir thday (in human years) next month and there’s nothing I want more than a family and home to call my own! I’m also a big fan of treats and hard chew toys to keep m e occupied in the bor ing shelter I even know a couple tr icks and I’ll show them off for a treat! I’m a playful pup and I like other dogs so I’d like to have a canine sibling! I’d like to meet them first because I like to play r ight away and not all other dogs are into that I would also enjoy having little humans in my family! The folks at the shelter recommend kids 8 and up who are “dog savvy ”

If you want to take me home, please fill out an application to foster or adopt me at: wishbonepetrescue .org

I DA R E YO U TO B E L OV E D . . .

O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever Psalm 118:1

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God Colossians 3:1

REFLECTION: Beginning last Fr iday night, up to this coming Sunday mor ning, is what Chr istians call Holy Week These eight days changed the wor ld over 2000 years ago It began to change from a pagan r uled society to a Chr ist centered society Holy Week begins with the ceremony of Chr ist’s entr y into Jer usalem on Palm Sunday Holy Wednesday is when Judas begins his plan to betray Jesus Thursday night Jesus gives his final teachings to His disciples and institutes the Last Supper Good Fr iday is a time remember ing Jesus’ dying on the Cross The eighth day concludes on Easter mor ning with Jesus Chr ist’s resurrection from the dead The above verse from Colossians tells us that being raised with Chr ist means you have accepted these following tr uths: You have submitted your life to the author ity of God your Creator ; you have accepted the tr uth that you have sinned and caused others to sin against God; and you desire to confess your sins and ask God’s forgiveness This is done by praying these words, Lord Jesus please forgive me of my sin and set me free from its bondage By accepting Jesus Chr ist’s death and resurrection, all past, present, and future sins are forgiven God grants us the gift of eter nal life! Find a church this Easter Sunday and enjoy your new inher itance Life with Chr ist is wonderful! The gates of heaven have been flung open for those in Chr ist We have crossed over from death (curse of sin) to eter nal life by the physical resurrection of Chr ist on Easter mor ning

PRAYER TIME: We praise you this Easter Sunday Change our lives and our hear ts to be messengers of the joy and hope that comes from accepting Jesus Chr ist’s resurrection In Jesus’ Name, Amen
