Senior Freshers’ Reps Welcome First things first, CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve made it to Durham University and you’re about to embark on what will be a special few years, all at the best college there is! Our names are Gaspard de Kervenoael and Abbie Cole, and we are your Senior Fresher’s Reps for this year. Over the summer we’ve been planning loads of events to make sure that you start your Durham University experience on a high! Freshers’ Week is a great way to meet new people, and to get to grips with College and university life. Our advice? Get involved! Hatfield is amazing in that every student can find something to suit them, whether that be in the form of clubs, societies, events, the bar, academia and much more. Use this initial week as your way to explore what College has to offer and begin to find your footing. If you’ve got any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email or drop us a message us, or any of the people listed on page 4 — everyone is here to help you out. If you’d prefer to ask anonymously, the Welfare phone is available to text. Are you ready? Let the fun begin!

Gaspard de Kervenoael gaspard.e.jouan-de-kervenoael@durham.ac.uk Moving up North from France, Gaspard can always be seen around College, as he is a Senior Welfare Rep, a SHAPED rep and plays football for the mighty Hatfield C’s! Be warned, his accent is somewhat legendary around college and he has also earned the nickname of Sasspard - you’ll soon know why!

Abbie Cole abbie.cole@durham.ac.uk Also known as the keenest Fresher Hatfield has ever seen, Abbie embodies the legendary Hatfield Spirit! While it is a rarity to see her in anything but stash and her trusty Timberland boots, she can easily be found at Tea and Toast or in a play for our Lion Theatre Company!
