Marlborough/Hudson Relay For Life
Walkers will go around the clock in the battle against cancer when the 2011 American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Marlborough/Hudson gets underway at Ghiloni Park in Marlborough. Registration for the event begins at 3 p.m. for participants and the event begins for all at the Opening Ceremony with the Cancer Survivor/Caregiver Lap at 6 p.m. There will be entertainment and basket raffles throughout the event. Relay For Life’s Luminaria Ceremony takes place after sundown, honoring the community’s cancer survivors

Northborough’s Ultimate Birthday Cake Contest
The community is invited to Northborough’s Ultimate Birthday Contest from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St. in Northborough. Northborough elementary students were asked to design their ultimate birthday cake, one finalist from each school has been chosen and now they need your vote to become the ultimate winner. Northborough Historical Society Last Meeting of the Season
Children of all ages are welcome to a “Start Your Garden” drop-in craft from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northborough Free Library, 34 Main St. Stop by and plant some seeds, take them home and watch them grow!
