Riverstone Food Markets

Saturday 15 April from 5 pm to 9 pm

Bambridge Lane, Riverstone

We are excited to be bringing back the Riverstone Food Markets in 2023!

Bambridge Lane will come to life from with live music by local artists as its hosts some of Sydney’s best food trucks and stalls as well as a dedicated street food and dessert section.

This is a night out that the whole family will enjoy!

From Saturday 13 May to Saturday 27 May, there will be something for everyone!

Old favourites Blacktown City Medieval Fayre, and Streets Alive and Parade Day will return, along with a whole list of exciting new events!

Road Safety Workshop

Thursday 27 April from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm

Max Webber Library, corner Flushcombe Road and Alpha Street, Blacktown

Join us for our interactive road safety workshop for young drivers and passengers, designed for students in Years 10 – 12.

Explore the challenges new drivers face, the responsibilities of being a passenger and learn practical strategies for staying safer in the car. This workshop is aligned with the key objectives of the NSW PDHPE syllabus. Registrations are essential.

International Day of Mourning

Friday 28 April from 9 am to 11 am

Blacktown Showground, Richmond Road, Blacktown

The International Day of Mourning is an important day to stop and reflect on those who have lost their lives, been injured at or made ill from their work. On 28 April each year, countries around the world pause to remember and commemorate their lives, and share their memories.

The event is being hosted by the Mayor of Blacktown City, Cr Tony Bleasdale OAM.

SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOPS:

BOOST YOUR BUSINESS SKILLS AND GROWTH

We are delighted to announce the return of the Business Success Program, a series of business education workshops designed to help increase your business knowledge and success.

The Business Success Program is for small businesses and community groups of the greater Blacktown area, and is an initiative presented in partnership with Rapport Leadership.

Workshops will be held at the Max Webber Library Function Centre, Blacktown and tickets are only $25 per workshop. There are strictly limited seats.

Join our Bushcare group to plant locally native plants, and remove weeds improving the natural environment. New volunteers are always welcome.

You don’t need any experience, just a sturdy pair of shoes, and an interest in getting outdoors and learning about our local native bushland.

Free to attend. No bookings required, just register on the day.
