Flexible spaces Do you need a flexible space to hold meetings or deliver training? If so, let the Community Council of Devon help. Our newly furnished rooms have been designed with you in mind. Want a board room style layout? No problem. Or maybe you’d prefer a classroom or theatre style. We can help with that too. And the best part is that the room is set up to your requirements before you arrive, so your time is spent where you need it most- focussing on your event.

We have a range of high quality equipment, including data projectors, screens, laptop and flipcharts; all of which are available at no extra cost. A hearing loop is available on request. If you have specific equipment needs we can also arrange for its hire (costs apply). You may also make use of our free wireless internet access. Feeling hungry? We will arrange catering on your behalf. Simply tell us the numbers and pick from our menus of high quality, Devon produce. Teas and coffees can also be made available throughout the day. You and your guests can take advantage of the 5 guaranteed car parking spaces on site, and the ample free parking surrounding the facility. We also have a dedicated parking space for blue badge holders, as well as a lift providing access for people with disabilities.
Blackdown Room (right)
Our biggest and most adaptable room with a variety of possible layouts. Can seat up to 50 theatre style or up to 35 with clusters of tables.
Haldon Room (above)
A long and thin room, ideal for a boardroom style layout, though also adaptable to clusters of tables. Can seat 18 in clusters or up to 22 as a boardroom.
Lundy Room (right)
Our smallest room, Lundy is ideal for the smaller meeting, seating up to 10 comfortably. Located adjacent to the Blackdown Room, with an adjoining door, it also provides an ideal breakout space.
The Foyer
In addition to the above rooms, you can also hire our foyer if sole use is required for lunch, networking, breakouts or displays.

Location The venue is based in Matford Business Park, part of the Marsh Barton Trading Estate with easy access from the A30 and M5. The Green Matford Park and Ride car park is just 5 minutes walk away.
