Even the chains come in different spacing, either standard or half-drop, where the chains are closer thus creating density and a lovely honeycomb result. KriskaDECOR certainly left no space for imperfection; the chains can be connected horizontally to add stiffness, cut to create entrances, or even anchored at the bottom to stop them from moving freely.
Metal was never considered a material through which art could be created, let alone a decorating item. An immense amount of detailed work goes into creating these curtains; an overall image is deconstructed into thin linear aluminum sheets composed of even smaller links. In the end, the curtain provides depth and livelihood to the surrounding it hangs in, projecting an inanimate persona. This delicate yet colossal process signifies that when it comes to art, the tiniest of details that can easily pass unnoticed to the inexperienced eye, carry a responsibility that eventually leads to the bigger picture. The anodizing process, a process through which a metal becomes an anode, results in treated aluminum that is resistant to weather and corrosion. The intricate pre-designed curtains draw their inspiration from earthly patterns, geometric figures and even history. Kaleidoscopes, Persian rugs, ancient temples, flowers and the tribal Woody are a few examples of the ready-made curtains. For the passionate designers, KriskaDECOR provides the chance to bring to life the most complicated of ideas.

KriskaDECOR’s ingenious methods give life to inanimate objects, signifying that a decorative piece can indeed add an almost tangible energy via its existence. The possibility to create a desired canvas is not the only extraordinary aspect of the curtains; they are also built to move. Ceiling curtains can hang as drapes or fall straight from above, while wall curtains can be either fixed or moving in order to change the layout of the space they are placed in. Be it a restaurant, hotel, home, office or stadium, there is always room for a metallic curtain. In a variety of places over 5 continents, KriskaDECOR customized aluminum makes an appearance. 20.20 Limited have even gone to the extent of decorating The Mancunian Suite with a curtain imitating the sound waves of Manchester City’s famous chants. This family-run business has managed to stay true to founder Josep Maria San Amill’s philosophy, who believed that “There is nothing that cannot be done; we only have to find the way.” Since 1926, KriskaDECOR has been and continues to be an example of defying the norm, molding metal to form a vision of literary sophistication. Due to the family’s understanding of the ever-changing nature of art and their passion to constantly improve their products, KriskaDECOR continues to astound with a growing collection of curtains.
