November 5th, 2014 marked one year since we learned that our daughter, Alexis, had Leukemia. She has been through a tough year, but she has shown us time and time again what it means to be brave and spirited. We know without a doubt, we would not have made it through this last year without everyoneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s support of Lexi and our family during this trial in our lives. The support that we have received from our community, coworkers, friends, and family has lifted up our spirits, and kept us going. She has about a year and a half of treatment left at Childrenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Hospital in Buffalo, but it sure was nice to celebrate her one year anniversary at Walt Disney World on Lexiâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Make a Wish trip. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Make a Wish of Western New York and Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida were to our family. Those are two absolutely, amazing organizations. Thank you so much to Mark Green, Taunja Green, and Greenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Hoof Trimming for doing â&#x20AC;&#x153;Trimming for Lexiâ&#x20AC;? at the Wyoming County Fair. We truly appreciate all of the time and effort you put into it! Thank you to the Wyoming County Dairy Princess Organization for holding a raffle in Lexiâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s honor at the Wyoming County Fair. Our family is very grateful to you all.
